"Trust is not a matter of technique, tricks, or tools, but of character."

School had James and Sang moving like zombies.

Their movements were sluggish, their eyes barely open as they worked through the day.

Neither girl wanted to go, and both were out of it most of the day during their classes. The only thing that pushed James ahead was not wanting to get behind. She hated having to catch up on homework and with their busy schedules she tried to ensure she stayed on task.

The second thing keeping her going was that it was Friday.

If she got through the school day on Friday she would have the weekend to breathe. Relax. Think.

Sang and her got a chance to talk.

Both girls were on edge. McCoy was nowhere in sight and not knowing what happened to him had them even more stressed. The guys didn't want them to worry about it but the girl's...couldn't not.

Sang was especially stressed since he knew where she lived. They had determined he was one of the ones following Kota. It made them even tenser.

North had told Sang too about the wire. The blonde was also hurt about the lack of information and it seemed that they were both in the same place wondering how much the academy boys trusted them.

That alone left her feeling hallow.

The minute they got home from school the girls passed out. They both needed sleep. The over-exhaustion from the fight, the paranoia that McCoy was watching them. Lurking. School in itself. There minds and bodies were on overdrive.

They slept all afternoon and night. They both seemed to stir awake around the same time. Kota and Nathan slept on the floor next to the bed.

Sang poked her and James blinked a little groggily. Sang was looking at her with wide eyes motioning to the door. James yawned but the two girls inched out of the bedroom as quietly as they could without waking the boys.

"What time is it?" James whispered her arms encircling around her as a shiver crept down her spine.

"Five," Sang yawned as she was wearing Gabe's bright orange shirt. She looked adorable. "I can't believe we slept so much."

"Well that's what an attack does to you," James chirped brightly. Rubbing her eyes as they moved further down the hall.

Sang pursed her lips rolling her eyes. "Don't joke about it."

"Hey, we were victims together." James joked as they climbed down the stairs. Sang followed closely behind.

"Should we be proud?" Sang asked playfully.

"I mean we were the chosen two!"

"I would have rather not been chosen," Sang admitted.

James smirked, "Good thing you're not Katniss Everdeen then eh?" She moved into Sang's kitchen hopping onto the counter.

Sang started moving into the fridge pulling out eggs and some fruit. Moving into the cabinets to grab some bowls. "I don't think I could handle being the main book character." She frowned, looking startled. "I hope next time instead of being assaulted in the bathroom we're like kidnapped."

James laughed looking at her, "Kidnapped? Are you serious, why?"

Sang shrugged, "I don't know I feel like that would be more of a mystery. Some travel-"

James couldn't help as her laugh grew louder. Sang was cracking eggs into a bowl. "If you want to be taken on an adventure just ask me, and I'll scoop you away for a weekend getaway."
