"Friends don't look at each other the way we do."Wednesday
James rolled her head trying to crack her neck as she stood up. She was completely exhausted maybe North was right about her and Gabe staying up. Maybe-just maybe they should have gone to sleep sooner. She'd never admit that though.
She couldn't let North win that battle.
Gabe had also been right about the lecture it sucked ass but damn did North make a mean sandwich. Like heavenly good.
James spit in the sink putting away her toothbrush. She ran a hand across her shirt it held stripes creating a rainbow, she paired it with a pair of loose light-colored mom jeans and a black belt. Her hair fell in wild curls down her back.
"Jamie doll!" North called knocking on the door. "Come on gotta save yourself time to eat breakfast. I don't want it too get cold."
"You just want to see my gorgeous face," James said as she opened the bathroom door grinning widely at him.
North smirked pulling her into a hug, "Well that is a plus." He admitted making James flush. North's dark eyes were looking throughly amused and the smirk on his face softened his features. His large frame leaning against the door as he gazed down at her.
"Awe you think I'm pretty?" James teased, "What a loser."
"I think you're stunning," North said raising an eyebrow, "Although I feel like even that doesn't do you justice."
James blinked taken aback by the sincerity in his tone. His hair was mused slightly and he was wearing his school uniform. James still found it strange that Hendricks forced them into the uniforms. Although she kinda liked them.
The boys looked good.
Accents and uniforms man they always got to her. Although anything her friends did manage to get to her doing basically anything. She was a total simp for them. No doubt about it.
"Digging the rainbow?" James said ignoring his comments and motioning to her shirt. "Should I get you a matching one?"
"Please don't." North grimaced making a face.
"I'll take that as a yes," James moved around him patting his cheek. It was scruffy some facial hair starting to cover it. She liked how it felt against her fingertips. She assumed it would probably tickle against her cheek. "What size should I get you?"
North rolled his eyes following behind her into the kitchen.
James's heart warmed when she saw there was a plate out for her scrambled eggs, toast, and some fruit. Her stomach rumbled as she hopped into the chair shoving a mouth full of eggs into her mouth. "Oh man these are great-"
"Don't talk with your mouth full you'll choke."
James swallowed winking at him, "I don't choke I swallow."
North let out a laugh smirking, "Right how could I forget." He moved sitting next to her his dark eyes watching her.
James took another bite her cheeks full, "I'm not sharing."
"I didn't ask for any,"
"You look like you want to eat me."
North's lips twitched, "Maybe I do."
And there goes her heart again.
"...Where's um Gabe?" She questioned when she floundered with a snarky comment back. Fuck her sleepy mind. And fuck pretty boy's making her feel things. Emotional things.
