"Your costume suits you well."

Binalingan ko si Raeden. He was busy with his laptop, not until I entered the study room to check if he's dressed up. I raised my brow. He was grinning at me. Instead of answering him, I turned to face the veranda to see the happenings on the garden.

The party is Toy Story themed. Kaya naman hindi nakapagtatakang naglalakad si Zeus papasok ng gate bilang si Buzz lightyear. The kids on the garden where making fun of him.

May batang tumabi sakanya na kapareho niya ng costume. Bigla namang lumapit si Linelle at pinicture-an ang bata dalawa.

Nang magsimula nang magsidatingan ang iba pang mga bisita ay bumaba na ako para ientertain sila.

"Effort na effort ka sa suot mo," I heard Zeus teasing Linelle.

Linelle is Little Bo Pip. Her ball gown looks good on her.

"Hiyang hiya naman ako sa suot mo. Sa Lazada mo yata in-order 'yan."

I suddenly became conscious with what I'm wearing. I am on my Jessie costume. Hindi kasing flashy gaya ng kay Linelle but this is quite embarrassing.

I graced my way to Marinel's relatives and guided them to their seats. Their attire seem off. They are too formal for this kind of party.

Sa loob ko'y ginapangan ako ng kaba sa pag-iisip na baka kunin si Ysmael sa'min but I shrugged it all off. We won't let that happen. Besides, this is not the right time to entertain negative thoughts.

Ysmael is sitting on his chair beside his 6 layer cake. He's on his Sheriff Woody costume. Some of the guests were taking pictures with him.

Sceven, together with her girlfriend, brought an inflatable pool. Nagtatalon si Ysmael nang makita ang hawak ni Sceven.

"Dito ka dapat maligo. Hayaan mo na ang mga Tito at Tita na mag-enjoy sa Infinity pool," Sceven patted his head. "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you, Tito."

"Manang, pakipasok po nito sa loob." tawag ko kay Manang Lydia at giniya si Ysmael pabalik sa upuan niya.

"Where is Dustine?" asked Sceven habang nakasunod sa'min.

Sinulyapan ko siya bago ayusin ang kwelyo ni Ysmael.

"He's preparing-"

"Tito Paps will wear his Zurg costume!" Ysmael said cheerfully.

Sceven and his girl both chuckled. So did I. I can't imagine him wearing an all-violet outfit.

Lumapit naman ang mga pinsan ni Marinel kung kaya't hinayaan namin sila.

The next group who came were from my batch. Malayo pa ay matingkad na ang kulay ng suot ni Bree. She's Gabby Gabby for today. Si Camila naman ay si Giggle McDimples.

"You know I hate Children's Party. So much." Camila made a face. Tinawanan lang namin siya.

Most of our guests are either our batchmates or our classmates. Kaya naman nagulat ako nang makita ang pagdating ni Thais Jimenez sporting her ball gown like what Linelle is wearing.

"We have the same gown!" Linelle hissed.

My eyes narrowed. Some guests took picture of her and some even went her way to take pictures with her.

"Hi! Where is Rae?" she asked and smiled widely revealing her good set of teeth.

"Nasa taas. He's getting ready," sagot ko at ginala ang tingin sa paligid, to avoid prolonging our interaction.
