Chapter 15

"Why did you have to do that?" Edward asked from the passenger seat.

"If you had only been in Bella's house like you said you'd be, this wouldn't have happened. You think I want to be your babysitter? I was having a great day at Jacob's house but I had to come get you so believe me when I say I'm not thrilled either, darling" Renata told him, gripping hard the steering wheel.

"Why did you come and get me?"

"Carlisle called Sam, who told me to come and get you because school is starting soon and you have to go hunt" Renata told him as she got off the main road to the Cullen household.

"But school doesn't start for another week" Edward said, crossing his arms and looking out the window.

"Hate the message, not the messenger, honeybun" Renata said, Edward rolled his eyes. She had taken into calling him that and 'darling' because it annoyed him, and everyone was used to it now, Edward stopped complaining and just went with it.

Once at home, Renata parked inside the garage and took off Alice's scarf smirking, knowing it would piss her off that it smelled like her and the wolves.

"You're level of evil is surprisingly high for someone your size" Edward told her laughing when he heard her thoughts of pissing Alice off.

"I know, I have a talent" Renata said, smiling sweetly at him.

"Talking about small, how were you able to reach the pedals, honeybun?" Edward teased, which earned him a glare from Renata.

"I'm gonna kick you in your honeybunnies" Renata threatened, to which Edward took off running into the house while Renata calmly closed the door behind her.

"Carlisle, congrats! You have a new sister!" Edward yelled behind him.

"What is he talking about, Renata?" Carlisle asked Renatas as soon as she entered the house, giving her a carton of chocolate milk in the way.

"Well..." Renata started, pausing to stab the carton with the straw, "it was easier to tell Charlie that I'm your half sister than to explain to him why you adopted another child" Renata explained, more concentrated on her chocolate milk than other thing.

"And she kissed Jacob today!" Edward yelled from his room.

"Snitches get stitches, darling!" Renata yelled back, running after him with the milk carton gripped by the straw by her front teeth.

"Well, it is nice having children running around the house" Esme said, hugging Carlisle and giggling at her children's antics.

"It is" Carlisle said, hugging Esme and resting his head on top of hers. They enjoyed the sound of them running around the house until they heard a loud thud on the second floor, "she fell?" Carlisle asked.

"Yup, I'm going for the first aid kit" Esme said, patting Carlisle on the back and going to the kitchen.

"In a scale from 1 to 10, how important is it for me to go the school?" Renata asked for the tenth time in the morning of September 6th.

"C'mon, munchkin, you'll be with us, you won't even have to talk to anybody"  Emmet tried to cheer her up, "now go get ready"

"Uhm... I am ready" Renata said, looking down at her black yoga pants and a pastel green oversized sweatshirt, with her lucky Adidas to match.

"Nuh uh, you're not going out there saying you're part of this family and go out looking like this" Emmet told her and grabbed her like a sack of potatoes and carried her to her room.

Emmet threw her into her bed and he walked to her closet going through exactly 27 sweatshirts and 7 pairs of black yoga pants.

"Do you have anything that doesn't scream 'I just woke up'?" Emmet asked her.
