Loki grunts as he threw his dagger at the Hydra Agent who hit him with a kind of laser gun that was powered by the Tesseract. It hit him in his side, just below his rib. He dared to clutch his side only to feel the wound through his torn armor with warm but slowly cooling blood.

He looked at his wound in annoyance but continued to fight alongside the Avengers to repay his debt when he destroyed the city of New York in blind lust for power. The team accepted and believed Thor's reasoning that he was mind controlled by the Mind Stone within the sceptre he wielded but still, they wouldn't let the God of Mischief get an out that easily.

Tony did a perimeter check and cleared the base, seeing that there were no Hydra Agents left alive and kicking.

The team and Loki boarded the Quinjet. All of them sat in silence, only heavy breaths and hard swallows of water can be heard aside from the calm rumbling of the aircraft. Tony was up front piloting the jet alongside his most trusted co-pilot, JARVIS.

Loki sat or rather man-spreaded into one of the seats, sustaining a laser blast and a few scratches and bruises on his body. He breathes heavily, trying to ease the pain of the open wound in his abdomen. He could keep it at bay, but he sure as hell couldn't heal it himself. Loki was never proficient in the art of healing. Ever since he was a kid he thought it was useless. Why learn to heal yourself when others can do it for you?

Now he regrets it. Now he has to go to SHIELD's infirmary which only does so little help for the god but they could still help disinfect the wound and perhaps bandage it.

Thor looked over to his younger brother who he didn't notice take a hit while they were in battle. Quickly, he went over and sat next to Loki.

"Are you alright?" Thor asked Loki, his voice laced with concern.

"Of course I am, you oaf. It's nothing but a graze." Loki waved it off and intensely stared straight forward, focusing on eliminating the pain without his brother noticing.

"Are you sure? Do you not need immediate assistance?" Thor pressed on.

"I'm fine," Loki hissed, but regretted it when he realized his tone was more aggressive than it needed to be. "I will go to the infirmary once we've landed." He continued, calmly.

Thor nodded and said nothing in reply. He stayed beside Loki, just to watch over him and make sure he's not having trouble breathing or moving.

The Quinjet landed and immediately, Thor went with Loki to the infirmary. Not many people were in the healing area of the building, seeing that there's not been many missions for the lower agents as of late. It looked more like a laboratory than a healing ward for the past few days.

Like any other day, you were there, up and running as the head physician of the infirmary. But since last week, with the lack of patients, you asked your helpers and trainees to take a break. Now, you were alone, sorting samples and medicine in the cabinets and countertops to keep everything organized.

To say it shocked you to see the God of Thunder and Mischief waltz in was an understatement. You nearly dropped the bottle you were holding but you quickly came to your senses and placed the bottle down and helped Thor set Loki down on one of the beds.
