Gonk hit the streets of the lower level of Coruscant with Qui-Gon at Gonk's side. Gonk was not a fan of the lower levels and had flipped up the hood on Gonk's robes to stay hidden, shuffling in the shadow of Qui-Gon.

Indeed, Gonk, as Gonk always did in these places, did not feel well. Gonk had a bad feeling about this.

"Do you sense anything, my little padawan?" Qui-Gon asked, scanning their surroundings.

"Gonk." Gonk looked at the brightly lit clubs, their flashing lights failing to remove the eerie feeling Gonk always got when Gonk visited the lower levels. Despite the number of open doors, glowing billboards, and ships' headlights, it was still drastically dark and gloomy.

They passed an open club for droids and Gonk hurried past, using the Force to increase his pace.

"Take your time," Qui-Gon said. "We need to find these death sticks. Rushing around won't be of any help."

Glancing back at the club, Gonk thought differently.

Since Gonk had started training as a Jedi other droids had treated Gonk differently. They tended not to be so nice to Gonk, acting as if Gonk was an imposter among them. The droids which worked for the Jedi seemed to be a little nicer, but they too were not exactly warm towards Gonk as droids had once been.

R2-D2 was the only droid friend Gonk could say Gonk really had. R2 was the only droid who did not make rude comments about Gonk's Jedi training, nor appear to be jealous in any way. Gonk liked R2-D2.

"Gonk," Gonk said and Qui-Gon stopped.

"You sense something?" He pushed back his hood and glanced around. They were outside a place called the Outlander Club, its doors open to allow its strange music to drift out into the streets.

"I don't sense anything," Qui-Gon mused. "Still, we must be vigilant. Let us head inside."

"Gonk."

Gonk followed Qui-Gon into the club. Strangers danced around them while others huddled around tables in dark corners. Gonk slid past them all with Gonk's Master and they had a good look through the crowd for any signs of death sticks.

On his second lap of the room, in which Gonk had split up from Qui-Gon to extend their search, Gonk heard a familiar voice.

Gonk! Gonk thought.
