Second week at work and I think I'm going to be very busy starting from now, we have a new project and it's something different this time —not difficult but exciting.

"A resort." Rachel eyes is dazzling, seems excited as well. "Why are we doing this again?"

"The La Cuesta is one of the biggest investors of the Lim's." You know business, everyone on the upper class are all connected.

"Ang pinagtataka ko kung bakit kaya naging kasali tayo sa proyektong ito? As far as I know the La Cuesta are rich enough to stand alone. They have professional architects and engineers with them." Curiosity is with her.

The Lim and La Cuesta are very famous in Cebu, their family names are almost everywhere. Mas may kaalam si Rachel sa lalawigan na ito kaya sa kanya ko rin iyan nalaman.

"It's purely business, Rach. Probably they're building their connections high." Umiling ako.

"Talaga ba?" Her eyes furrowed. "Tanungin mo kaya iyong CEO, mukhang close kayo. What was his name again? I only know him as Mr. La Cuesta, very mysterious."

"Khalex." It sounds like a whisper.

"Khalex, wow nice name almost similar to yours. Khalexandria —that would be a nice name for a kid if you two ended up together." Panunukso niya.

"I'll take note of that."

Lalong lumaki ang ngiti niya dahil sa sinabi ko. Sometimes she would see me and Khalex together in the corridor —thanks that she never did saw him inside my office, mukhang matutukso ako lalo. Dahil napapalagi yata si Khalex dito kahit hindi sariling kompanya at alam ko ang dahilan kung bakit.

My schedule for the day will be all about meetings. Meeting with the team —which is already done, meeting with the engineer which is happening right now and we're already wrapping it up, and next would be a meeting in the La Cuesta's Company. I'm feeling nervous about it but still excited with the project. Hindi ko maipagkakaila na noong mga panahon na namamalagi ako sa Resort nila Khalex ay maraming bagay ang naging insperasyon ko upang gumuhit ng mga gusali.

I didn't saw Khalex' face this morning but he did call me, we already exchanged our numbers because emails is a bit... I don't know... way to formal? As soon as we get out of the van, together with the team, we walk towards the inside of the building. Welcoming us were the staff and guards, expecting for our presence and of course because of Adrian that is why they are all prepared.

"Where is your CEO?" Rachel whispered in my ears. We are confidently walking together, joined by the guards behind us.

"Where is your engineer?"

"Nice try, Margaux." Then she laughed, smirking at me.

It's my first time inside their company and I can say that he has the same level with Lim's -or much higher than that. Pagbukas ng elevator ay sumunod ako sa mga yapak ni Adrian. There were probably ten people inside, together with me is Rachel, Adrian, the old man Engineer, a young woman staff of the La Cuesta and the rest was bodyguards. Dahil hindi ako pamilyar dito ay nakasunod lamang ako sa kanila, hindi din umalis si Rachel sa aking tabi. Dalawang liko sa kanan bago kami nakadating sa meeting room.

It was huge inside and as expected, if I estimated it right then, probably there are more than fifty people here. Kami nalang yata ang huling hinihintay dahil lahat nakatingin pagdating namin. I didn't look around because I was distracted for a second when I saw Khalex, he was serious, as usual, looking handsome to an excruciating degree.
