"T-terrence."

"Cass?" I imagined him frown just by his tone. Maybe because he heard me stuttered. "How's your date?"

Hindi ko pinansin ang sinabi niya.

"Terrence won't you really go home t-tonight?" My voice broke kaya agad kong tinakpan ang bibig, habang nararamdaman ang pagtulo ng luha sa aking mga mata.

"Cass, are you okay?"

"No." I cried silently. I was in a cubicle of a mall I passed by when I received the call...I...

I don't even know what I should be thinking right now.

"Where are you? Is Zyle with you?"

"Just answer me if you can't really come home," I said stubbornly while wiping my tears away. "Please," I murmured.

"Cass," he called my name and I knew that he was really conflicted whether or not he'll come.

I sniffed. "It's okay." Whatever it was he was doing, I knew it was important. "I'll wait you tomorrow then I'll tell you."

"Are you sure? Cass if you want--"

"No. I'll be fine. Do your job t-there and come back ASAP."

"Sure. Stay in the unit, okay?" He reminded me worriedly.

Tumango ako kahit hindi naman niya ako nakikita.

I bid him goodbye after telling him I'll stay in our unit.

I took a deep breath and composed myself. I dried the tears away and before making my way out of the cubicle even though I was feeling my heart being squeezed on pain. I saw some people looked at me but ignored them. I go to the sink and washed my face using my left hand while the other was grasping my hair to prevent it from getting wet.

My face welcomed the cold water. I do it twice before looking at my face on the mirror. Crying gave my pale face color specially my nose. I fix myself a little bit because I haven't had any makeups with me. I just finger comb my hair then headed out of the restroom, ignoring some stares I'm receiving.

I tried to divert my thoughts away, but it always came back to the caller earlier.

Tammi...

She's...

My eyes teared up while walking in the middle of the mall that's why I looked down so my hair will cover my face. I felt my heart being tore into half by the news I just received.

Damn. I can't believe-

I bumped into someone and I almost fall but his strong arms manage to hold me. I looked up to saw a guy, wearing a shades then a cap. He has piercing on his earlobe and silver chain on neck. He looks familiar. I knew I saw him somewhere, but I couldn't remember.

Is he in the fashion industry?

"Ayos ka lang, Miss?" I was out of trance when he asked me.

Umayos ako ng tayo saka tumango habang nakatingin pa rin sa baba. "Yeah."

"Are you crying?"

"I don't know you, so don't talk to me."

Narinig kong tumawa ito. Aalis na sana ako ng may iabot siya sa akin. Napatingin ako sa panyong inaabot niya.

"Next time, try harder in hiding your tears, okay?"

I was paralyze for a split second before I looked up at him. Did I hear him right?

Nang wala akong balak kunin ang panyo niya ay kinuha niya ang mga kamay ko at inilagay roon ang asul na panyo. Hindi pa ako nakakapagsalita ay linampasan na ako nito.
