"Rencey," tawag ko sa pangalan niya saka siya tiningala. We were watching random movies on Netflix on the couch. He was leaning on the backrest while my head was on his lap.

"Hmm." Hindi ito tumingin sa akin at nakatuon lang ang mga mata sa palabas pero alam kong nakikinig siya.

"Sorry again. Kasi nabaliwala ko kayo. I even broke what I said that I won't have sex as long as I'm here."

He combed my curls and looked down at me. "I told you it was fine to have sex. It's natural. I'm just worried of you. Paano kung kaaway ko na pala 'yung kasama mo? What if he was a masochist? An offender? Anong mangyayari sa'yo?"

Hindi ako nakasagot agad sa sinabi niya.

"And one more thing, I was really irritated when you're ignoring my calls. I knew in this relationship, it looks like you give more to everyone but it wasn't. Our relationship was working because we both wanted this to last. We're family by heart; you're like my little sister. Of course I don't want you in danger. That's why I always got your back and you got mine, right?"

Para akong maiiyak sa sinabi but I'm done with drama the other day. Whatever it was dad did, it's done. It already ruined me. I'm still ignoring him but having a cheating dad wasn't new actually. It was always out there; I just didn't expect that my very own dad can do that.

Sinong anak ba na tanggap agad na nagloko 'yung tatay nila? Much worst to my case because I was idolizing him so much. He was The Standard for me, but it turned out he was the epitome of my utmost hated thing.

It was so sudden, specially for me.

Life really knew when to show its tricks, someone will be surprise and wouldn't forget.

"So we have a relationship and we're almost siblings and we're kissing. Isn't that incest?" I said, trying to lighten the mood.

He smacked my forehead lightly making me glare at him. "We're a different case so, no."

Magsasalita pa sana ako ng biglang mag-ring ang phone ko na nasa center table. I reached it and saw Leo calling. Napatingin ako kay Terrence na alam kong nakita niya rin kung sino 'yung tumatawag. I rejected the call and put back my phone on the center table but it rang again.

"Answer it."

"Sure?"

Tumango ito. "But if he was asking for sex tell him fuck off. It's my day, today."

Biglang hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti. "Aw, my jealous bestfriend," I coed him making him shook his head in disapproval.

Ayaw pa umamin!

"Move a bit. I'm going to the restroom, then answer that." He pointed my phone. "When I come back, we'll finish watching."

Bumangon ako ng kaunti saka umalis si Rencey papuntang bathroom. Leo called for the third time.

I sighed before answering.

"Thanks God, Cassie! Nag-aalala na ako sa'yo dahil ilang araw ka nang hindi sumasagot sa text at tawag ko! Are you okay?"

Umayos ako ng upo sa sofa. "Hi," I greeted him. "I'm fine."

I sensed that he relaxed on the other line. "Can I see you? I really wanted to see you."

"I'm having my period," I lied to him so he will just end the call.

"So?" He asked confused. "I just really want to see you."

"Sorry, Leo. You're a very nice guy but I think we need to stop this now," I said to him, not wanting to do any damage to someone's life anymore.

Biglang natahimik ang nasa kabilang linya. "W-what? Why?"
