Mom told me that she was willing to give up the company abroad since one of my uncles choose to settle there. I was happy because that means I have more time with mom. We were hoping that everything will be fine before I gave birth.
On our way home, Zyle received a good news. Zach, his friend that's been in coma for years, finally woke up.
But our baby was still my top priority. Ayokong mag-risk na mahawaan ng sakit.
School days started and I was already on my second trimestral of pregnancy. Terrence was on university while I was staying on Zyle's parents house. They keep insisting that we should live with them so that they can take care of me.
Everyone's reall excited about the baby.
Mama, Zyle's mother, was already in the Philippines while his father was still doing some errands abroad. Both of them are so happy specially his mom.
Actually, they kept thanking me for coming into Zyle's life. Alam ko naman na din ang dahilan at naging apektado rin sila noon. Pero maski naman ako, masayang nagkakilala kami ni Zyle.
It was Saturday. Zyle was at their company. I thought before, he was getting some job that was in line with his chosen program. But it turns out that he only got that because he wanted to learn things about art. I learn that he was already a part of their company even before he entered college. And that he took online classes on universities abroad about business while studying at college.
I asked him what he like most. He said that he love both worlds of business and art. When he was at home, he was still typing manuscripts. On their company, it was his designs that is used for anything that needs visuals.
And yeah. I have a fiancé that gets the best of both worlds. I'm feeling lucky. Though, he doesn't want me to work. He was worried it might bring me stress.
I walked to the garden on the back of the house and saw Zyla. Kahit pala palipat lipat ng bansa ang mga magulang nila, Zyla mostly stayed at her grandparent on a small town of their province. But because of me, she was transferred here in Manila or at least, that's what she told us.
And speaking of Zyla, I saw her holding a hose, watering the plants. I watched her moved gracefully with good posture every time she stood straight. Napaisip tuloy ako bakit nasabi ni Zyle na kailangan ng kapatid niya ng kagaya ko to boost her confidence. I mean, just by looking at her from a far, she has this aura that show that she's confident.
I was watching her when I saw her wiped something on her face. Akala ko ay napuhing siya kaya lumapit ako pero nakarinig ako ng hikbi.
"Zyla?" I asked her.
"A-ate," agad nitong pinunasan ang mga mata.
"Umiiyak ka ba?" I asked worriedly.
Agad itong umiling. "N-napuhing lang po."
Nakita kong pinatay niya ang hose na hawak.
"Bakit po ate, may kailangan ka po?" She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.
"You know, you can tell me your problems if you have any."
Agad na nagluha ang mga mata niya.
Aw, this kid is making me soft.
