Drizzling 23

"Sunod ako."

I nodded at Terrence and get out of our unit. Pagkasara ng pinto ay humarap akong muli sa isa pang pinto saka pinindot ang passcode.

Zyle just gave me his passcode too so I could enter his unit if I wanted like what he said. But mostly, I still pressed his doorbell. It's still his privacy and I don't want to intrude.

"Where's T?" tanong niya agad ng makita ako.

"May kausap pa, susunod raw." Dumiretso ako sa sofa. I saw popcorn and other snacks on the center table. Zyle was in the kitchen.

"What do you want?" he called out when I checked my phone for messages. "Coffee, tea..." Agad na napataas ang kilay ko ng mahulaan ang kasunod niyang sasabihin.

"...or me," sabay naming sabi.

I rolled my eyes as we uttered the same words. "Ugh! Stop flirting!"

He laughed.

Two months after I've discovered that he was moving on and all I receive are flirty remarks from him everytime Terrence was out of sight. I knew he was doing it to tease me. It all started when Direk 3, the new director on the theater club came. I just found it cringey how flirty they are and since then, he started throwing me lines too that sometimes makes me wanna throw up!

"But I'm just asking what you want."

I rolled my eyes. As if I'll fall for that.

"C'mon, idiot. You knew well I'm acidic to coffee. I don't drink tea or milk tea not unless it's iced tea. So, what's there left to me on your given choices?" I said in an irritated tone.

"Me?" he responded with a naughty smile.

Agad kong kinuha ang throw pillow at ibinato sa kaniya na agad naman niyang nasalo at tumawa.

"Isa pa, sasapakin na kita," banta ko.

Nanahimik naman siya pero nakita kong nakangiti pa rin nang magsimula siyang magtimpla ng juice. Baka naalala niya na marunong talaga ako sumuntok, kaya natakot. Napailing na lang ako.

Rencey came shortly, just in time when Zyle finished mixing the orange juice.

Terrence sat on my left, giving Zyle the space on my right. Zyle started operating the movie before he sat on my right. He turned off the lights then we started watching.

On the middle of the movie, the two of them was leaning at the back of the sofa. Ako naman medyo nakapaharap dahil kumakain ako ng popcorn na nakalagay sa center table.

Nanunuod ako ng mapayapa ng bigla akong tapikin ni Zyle. Tumingin ako sa kaniya, nagtatanong kung bakit nang itinuro niya 'yung baso. Umirap ako kahit may posibilidad na hindi niya makita.

"Ang tamad mo!"

"Please?"

Naiinis na kinuha ko na lang iyon at walang tingin na iniabot sa kaniya dahil naka-focus ako sa panonood. Naramdaman kong kinuha niya 'yung baso at tumama pa ang ilang daliri niya sa kamay ko.

Ayos lang naman sana pero nagtagal 'yung hawak niya sa baso at sa ibabaw ng mga daliri ko!

Agad ko siyang nilingon at pinanlakihan ng mata nang tumingin siya sa aking ng malisyoso. The light coming from the television gave me the sight of him, smiling mischievously!

"Hawakan mo!" sigaw ko sa kaniya. Nang tumingin na sa amin si Terrence ay saka lang niya kinuha ang baso saka uminom nang maayos. Napairap ako.
