Hey, guys! So for this part of the story, we're now fast-forwarding in time a little. The story is still the same though xD. Just wanted to clear that up :) .

 Enjoy!

I finally realize how hard junior year is. Yeah, I know people told me that junior year sucks, but it can't be that bad, right?

Nope, I was wrong.

I have so much homework every single day, and I have to study day and night due to ALL OF THE AP TESTS. There are actual days where I only get like 4 hours of sleep cause of all my work, and I don't even know how to make my life better. I look and feel dead every single day. I just need a break from everything.

But luckily, it was the end of September, and the entrance of October meant one thing: Homecoming season.

Homecoming is taken really seriously here in Texas, and our school has a HOCO spirit week every year.  At the end of spirit week, there's a huge football and volleyball game against either our biggest rival Faircraft High School or some other school in our district. Finally, at the end of the week, there's a school dance.

Because of an important event, homecoming got moved to mid-October instead of the typical end of September. This gives us more time for dress shopping and hoco proposals.

And I was here for it. I needed a break!

So far, all I've been doing this morning was just doing my homework for APUSH (AP US History). We have our first reading quiz next week, and I had to read the entire section in the textbook since we didn't really have a guide on what to read.

I would normally do way better with music, but I'm not allowed to study with music in the house. Sad, right?

I  need a light break from all the chaos, so I decide to get some food. I go to my brother's room to pick up my phone and I go downstairs to get a snack. When I unlock my phone, I see notification after notification. Most of them were Vinnie, but the rest were just emails and class announcements on Remind.

Huh, what's she so excited about? I think to myself as I pull up her chat.

OMG TEE -Vinnie

Heyyy bro sorry I was doing APUSH hw, why are you so happy?? ;) -Tia

Vinnie sends me a picture of her and Vihaan. In the pic, he's holding a giant poster, and she's holding a cup of Chai Latte from Starbucks (her all-time favorite drink). The poster says, "Will you be the Sugar to my Chai at HOCO?". They were both smiling with so much happiness, and their faces were glowing and beaming. It was so cute, and now I feel really single. Great job, Tia.
