Two days later...
"What rides do you want to go on, Vik?" I ask him while I wait inside Vinnie's room for her to change.
"I just want to go on all of them and do it all over again," he declares and I give him a high five.
"Amen, bro. Amen."
"Since SOMEONE kept bragging about all the rides they went on last time, I just want to level out the playing field," he shades Vinnie and I guess she heard that because the toilet starts making sloshing sounds in the bathroom along with the sink.
"We get it, you're still salty," Vinnie mocks Vikas as she walks out of the bathroom.
Vinnie dressed super cute for Universal today, wearing a sleeveless cropped white blouse that goes perfectly with her maroon paper bag shorts and her denim jacket. And like always, her tight abs are on full display. Her long black hair is in two braids, with that signature single strand on her face.
"I know I already saw your outfit coming in here, but I legit can't get over how cute it is," I compliment it as she starts laughing brightly.
"What are you talking about? Your outfit is super cute too!" she beams as she returns the compliment. I'm wearing a baby pink fitted tee that's tucked into some dark wash skinny jeans, and I straightened my hair and added some pink clips to it.
"Good one," I tell her and she rolls her eyes.
"Are you ready to go downstairs?" she asks me as she grabs her things.
"Yup, I think the adults are downstairs already."
Today, Selvi Perrima and Mahesh Perripa had an "adults day out" as they call it, so our parents and my brother were out for pretty much the entire day. That's why we're all getting ready by ourselves and being chaotic AF.
"Cool! Let's go meet up then," Vinnie tells me as she puts on some cute sandals and I put on my white Converse.
"Vik, can you close the door behind you?" Vinnie asks him as we step out of the door and Vikas grabs his phone and puts on his shoes.
"Yeah, sure."
After we all get out of the hotel room and Vinnie quickly makes sure she has her room keys, we all start speedwalking to the hotel corridor.
The hallways are super long, so there's this corridor in the middle where the elevators and stairs are. It's gorgeous, with marble tiling and flower pots everywhere. And get this, the elevators are made of GLASS.
"I have so much homework when we get back to the hotel, omg," Vinnie rants as I nod my head and widen my eyes. "Dude, same! I have notes for AP Bio, and I'm not even halfway done with it," I whine and she clenches her teeth. "I have Health Science and AP Calc homework. I'm fine with AP Calc and all, but you know how much I hate Health Science."
Bro, Vinnie hates her Health Science class to the point where she rants about it every single day. It happens so much that she legit has a designated rant-time for her to talk about it.
I don't even know what it's like, but based on the stories she told me about the mean people in her class, I'll take her word for it. She said that there's this guy named Andrew who makes her life a living hell there along with his "posse", and she can't even complain about it because her teacher favors them over everyone else in that class.
It's hard for Vinnie to dislike someone, but when someone screws her over, you'll know.
"And now that I got my first C in AP Calc, my parents are a bit strict about my studying habits now," she pretends like she's sad and I rub her cheek. "Dude, it's ok! You can bring your grades up soon, and you're the smartest person I know."
