All of us sat in transfigurations class the next day, curious as ever to figure out what has been going on. I was sure all of us had so many questions about the night before. "Could I have your attention, please?" The class stopped talking and looked back at her. Before she could tell us anything about today's lesson, a hand in the back went up. "Yes Mr Williams?" We all turned back, looking at one of the Ravenclaw students. He scratched the back of his neck.
"Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about... the Chamber of Secrets?" Professor McGonagall sighs, nodding her head.
"Well, very well. Well, you all know, of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Now, three of the founders coexisted quite harmoniously. One did not." The twins smirked over at me.
"Three guesses who." Fred joked, winking at us. I shook my head, smiling.
"Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words, "pure-bloods." Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school. Now, according to legend, Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in this castle, known as the Chamber of Secrets. Though, shortly before departing, he sealed it until that time when his own true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the Chamber and unleash the horror within, and by so doing purge the school of all those who, in Slytherin's view, were unworthy to study magic." Muggleborns. "Well, naturally, the school had been searched many times. No such chamber has been found." I furrowed my eyebrows, looking back at McGonagall.
"Professor? What exactly does legend tell us lies within the Chamber?" I ask her, my hand half raised.
"Well, the Chamber is said to home to something that only the Heir of Slytherin can control. It is said to be the home of a monster." My leg started to bounce again as I looked back at the boys.

I met up with Harry, Ron and Hermione in the library the next day. They were looking for something. I sat down next to Harry, looking over at Hermione. "Here it is. 'The Polyjuice Potion.'" Hermione starts to read from the book. "'Properly brewed, the Polyjuice Potion allows the drinker to transform himself temporarily into the physical form of another.'"
"Do you mean, if Harry and I drink that stuff, we'll turn into Crabbe and Goyle?" I saw Hermione nod. Polyjuice potion is disgusting. I have used it before for a prank with the twins and it was awful. "Wicked! Malfoy'll tell us anything." I laughed, nodding.
"Exactly. But it's tricky. I've never seen a more complicated potion." Hermione says. I put my hand on her shoulder.
"I've made it before. I'll help you." She nods, silently thanking me.
"Well, how long will it take to make?" Harry asks her. She looks back at me and I sigh.
"It takes a month." I tell him, shrugging.
"A month? But, if Malfoy is the Heir of Slytherin, he could attack half the Muggle-borns in the school by then." Harry complains. I shake my head, looking back at the other two.
"I know. But it's the only plan we've got." Harry sighs as the four of us look at each other.
