At the Christmas feast, there were less people here this year than there were last year. Parents were worried about their kids' safety so many made their children come home for the holidays. The few students that were here, were talking like nothing was wrong. Especially Draco. Though he was quite excited at the idea of muggleborns being killed. I sat with Fred and George as we talked quietly. Every once in a while, I would look over to Harry, Ron and Hermione, checking to make sure they were still going through with the plan. They were going to grab hair samples tonight from Crabbe and Goyle. I had supplied Hermione with a couple of sleeping draught pranks that the boys and I made so that she could knock Crabbe and Goyle unconscious. Then Harry and Ron could disguise themselves as Crabbe and Goyle to interrogate Draco. I bit my lip anxiously as I turned back to the twins. "Is your mum visiting Charlie?" I ask the twins.

"Yeah, they went to Romania to see him." I smile at the twins. Charlie was a dragonologist in Romania.

"Mum said he might come home for Christmas next year." I smiled at George, as he started to talk about his brother. I'm pretty sure Charlie was their favourite brother. You would never hear then say it aloud but we all knew it was true. They took after Charlie most.

As the boys and I headed back to the common room after dinner, the twins laughed over something I said, we ran into Percy. "You three shouldn't be dilly-dallying through the halls this late." I looked back at the twins and smiled at Percy, still laughing a little.

"Sorry Percy. We were just going the long way." He sighed, walking passed us. I could swear I saw him rolling his eyes at us.

"If you weren't here, Percy would've given us a detention." George said, throwing an arm over my shoulder. I rolled my eyes at the two boys.

"Well maybe if you two were better looking..." I didn't have a chance to finish that sentence, both of the boys looking at me mock hurt.

"Are you claiming to be better looking than us?" Fred asked. I shrugged, looking between the twins.

"Eh. Sometimes you've got it..." The twins looked at each other and before I knew what was happening, George threw me over his shoulder, both of the twins running down the corridor laughing. "Put me down!" I laughed, hitting George's back.

"Take it back. Tell us we're the most attractive people you know." Fred smirks at me, and I shake my head. "Should you take another lap Georgie?" Fred asks, my eyes wide as I shake my head.

"No! Fine. Fred and George are the most attractive people I've ever met." Fred smirked and George put me down. My face was all red as I looked back at the boys. There was a slight smirk on my face as I started to laugh. "My fingers were crossed." Both boys' eyes go wide as we break out into a run. We were all laughing the entire time as I ran ahead of them, slipping into the common room first. I tried to stop laughing as the boys caught up to me, not wanting to wake up anyone who was sleeping. We were out of breath as we stood there, staring at each other and trying not to laugh loudly.

"You're too much Mira." Fred commented, making me laugh.

"Well, that's what I'm here for. That and being hilarious." The boys looked at each other and shrugged.

"I think you're better at the first one." George commented as the twins began to walk up to their rooms.

"Now that was just uncalled for you twit." George shot me a wink before they waved.

"Goodnight love." They whispered at the same time, making me shake my head.

Hermione ended up in the hospital wing. She thought she had grabbed a hair off of a girl in Slytherin. Rather she had accidentally grabbed her cat's hair, turning Hermione into a cat-girl. Needless to say, the potion hadn't worn off so Harry and Ron took her to the hospital wing and she was forced to stay there. Two weeks had passed and Hermione still had a tail but she didn't have fur all over her body. When I went to visit her, she had books surrounding her entire bed and when Harry and Ron walked in, they were carrying more. "Hermione, how many books do you need?" I asked her, laughing as the boys dropped the books near her bed, since there was nowhere else to put them.

"Madam Pince asked that we relay a message to you, Hermione - She'd appreciate it if you'd leave a few books for the rest of the school." Ron said as he looked back at Hermione, who just rolled her eyes.

"I've got to keep up, haven't I?" Just then, Hermione's tail twitches and Ron gives it a weird look.

"Is that thing ever going away?" Ron asked. I scoffed and hit his arm. That is not something you just ask someone.

"Any day now, according to Madam Pomfrey. I'm just thankful I've stopped coughing up fur balls." Ron and Harry looked at each other.

"We all are, believe me." Ron chuckled. Hermione looked back at Harry.

"Now. What about the Chamber of Secrets? Any new leads?" Harry just shook his head. We hadn't heard of anything new. "And has it gotten any better? I mean... is anyone speaking to you?" Harry shrugged.

"Neville asked to borrow a tubeworm in Potions yesterday. I suppose that's something." Ron takes a get well card from under Hermione's pillow.

"'To Miss Granger. Wishing you a speedy recovery, from your concerned teacher Gilderoy Lockhart.' You sleep with this under your pillow?" I look at Hermione, sighing. Her cheeks are all red.

"Of course not. I don't know how that got there. Now go. I still have six hundred pages to read in Transformation Through the Ages." I chuckled as I shooed the boys out of the room, smiling back at Hermione.

"Don't study too hard." I wink at her, waving goodbye.

The three of us walk away, Harry and Ron a little ways ahead of me. "I know Hermione's mental, but can you believe she falls for that smarmy nonsense of Lockhart's?" I sighed, shaking my head.

"Unfortunately, he seems to have a lot of women under his spell." Harry nods, agreeing with me. Suddenly the floor beneath us is very wet, and once more my shoes get water in them. Groaning, I look down, seeing the entire corridor is flooded... again. "What is this?" I ask as we follow the wet corridor to the girls' bathroom.

"Looks like Moaning Myrtle's flooded the bathroom." Harry commented as we peaked inside.

"Come to throw something else at me?" Moaning Myrtle groans as she sits in the toilet seat. I look at the boys confused.

"Why would I throw something at you?" I ask her, as we walk closer to her.

"Don't ask me! Here I am, minding my own business, and someone thinks it's funny to throw a book at me." I sigh and look back at Ron and Harry.

"But, it can't hurt if someone throws something at you. I mean, it'll just go right through you." Ron states and I roll my eyes as Myrtle gets closer to Ron, yelling in his face.

"Sure! Let's all throw books at Myrtle because she can't feel it! Ten points if you get through her stomach! Fifty points if it goes through her head!" I sigh and look back at Myrtle as she starts crying again.

"But, who threw it at you, anyway?" I ask her, and she looks back at me, giving me a small smile.

"I don't know, I didn't see them. I was just sitting in the Ubend thinking about death - aah - and it fell through the top of my head. Uhhuh." She mimics the movement of the book falling from the ceiling as it hit her head. Harry picks up the small book off the floor and eyes it carefully. It looks like a journal... I guess the only question is whose is it?
