A couple weeks after I arrived, it was the morning of the Quidditch World Cup game. And I was beyond excited. I was more excited that after I had woken up earlier than everyone else, and went downstairs for toast, that I was greeted by the familiar face and smile of Hermione Granger. "Hermione!" I whisper yelled, hugging her tightly.

"Mirabella! It's so nice to see you." I smiled back at her as Mr Weasley walked through the door. Behind him, I could see the sun starting to come up a little.

"Good morning Arthur." I commented, both of us smiling at him. He nodded.

"Why don't you two go wake up the others." He said, taking off his coat and hat. We nodded as we turned around, walking towards the stairs.

"You take the twins and I'll get Ginny, Ron and Harry." I nodded, smiling at her as we walked separate ways. I made my way towards the twins' room, lightly knocking as I opened the door. Both the twins were sound asleep. I smiled at the two sleeping bodies before yanking the blankets off them, watching as they curled up, trying to keep some heat in their bodies.

"That didn't work?" I whispered to myself as I looked back at the boys. Tapping my foot, I shook my head as I flicked on the light. Both twins groaned as their eyes fluttered open, glaring at me. "Get dressed." As I walked towards the door, I smiled back at the twins. "We're going to the Quidditch World Cup." I giggled as I skipped out of the room, heading back down stars, where Hermione was sitting on the sofa. I plopped myself next to her, as my foot bounced up and down anxiously. I was so excited for the game.

I tried to get my leg to stop bouncing but I was too excited. It only stopped when Fred and George clamped their hands on my shoulders, making me yelp. "Arseholes." I yelled, slapping the back of their heads. They just laugh, the two of them kissing my cheeks. "Fine, you're forgiven. Good morning." I said, smiling at the both of them. I picked up my backpack as Mr Weasley came into the room, Ron and Harry following closely behind.

"Alright, is everyone here?" Arthur looked back at us, as if counting our heads. "Hermione, Mirabella, Ginny, Ron, Harry, Fred, and George? Okay! Let's get going!" Mr. Weasley announced. I smiled back at George as we walked out the door. Everyone walked outside and made our way into a forest near the house. I strolled with Hermione and Ginny, and all we talked about was me and George. Luckily, he was further behind with Fred.

"Come on, Mira! How long are you going to keep putting this off?" Ginny said. I rolled my eyes at her, shaking my head.

"You'll never know if he likes you back unless you tell him." Hermione added. I sighed, looking down.

"Ugh, calm down, will you? I'm sure he doesn't like me. He only sees me as a friend or maybe even a sister." I answered, crossing my arms. A sudden feeling of sadness washed over me. Not realising, I started lagging behind the girls as they moved on to a different subject.

"You're slacking Mira." George whispered in my ear, making me jump.

"George! You scared me." We continued to walk up the hill. He looked down at me and sighed, walking slightly ahead so he could bend down. I smiled, laughing slightly as I wrapped my arms around his neck and jumped onto his back. "Thanks Georgie." He chuckled.

"It's no worry. You're as light as a feather." I rolled my eyes, resting my head on his shoulder as we continued to walk.

"Arthur! It's about time son." A man called from above, near a tree. I looked up, seeing a man with a hat and a cane, waving towards us.

"Sorry Amos. Some of us had a bit of a sleepy start." Mr Weasley said, looking back at Ron and Harry. Ron yawned, making me giggle as I looked back at Mr Weasley and Amos. "This is Amos Diggory everyone, he works with me at the ministry." Suddenly, someone dropped from the tree above, looking back at all of us. I recognized him as Cedric Diggory. Though he is much more attractive than I remember. Hermione, Ginny and I all shared a look and I felt George frown as he stared at me. I smiled down at him as he put me down. There wasn't much more of a walk. "And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right?" Cedric smiled at us, but his eyes met mine and he smiled flirtatiously. I couldn't help but blush, not because I liked the attention, but because he was attractive and he was flirting with me. I looked back at George, seeing him scowl at Cedric. I elbowed him as Cedric looked away from me, looking up at his father. Amos shook Harry's hand as we started to walk back up the hill. When we reached the top, there sat an old boot. I looked back at George, quite interested. "That's it sir, just over there." Arthur said, pointing up at the boot.

"Is that a portkey?" I whispered and George winked at me, nodding.

"Shall we? We don't want to be late." Amos yelled back at us as we gathered around the boot. Harry joined us, but he looked confused, whispering something to Fred as he passed Harry. Everyone gathered around in a circle around the boot, and placed a hand on it. Everyone that is, except for Harry. "After 3. One... Two..." Amos started counting down. I looked back at Harry.

"Harry!" I yelled. He looked back at me with a sudden realization as he grabbed onto the boot.

"Three!" Suddenly, everything was spinning. I felt like I was going to throw up if this lasted a minute longer.

"Let go!" Mr. Weasley yelled. We all let go, and dropped onto the hard ground, while Cedric, Mr. Diggory, and Mr. Weasley all landed safely. I groaned, letting my head hit the ground as I waited for the world to stop spinning.

"Need a hand?" Someone asked me. It was George. I looked up at him as he offered a hand to me, making me smile as he became clearer.

"T-Thanks." I stuttered, taking his hand. He pulled me up back onto my feet, but due to my lingering dizziness, I stumbled into George. He caught me and our faces were only inches away, gazing into each other's eyes. I wanted him to kiss me but he didn't, pulling away after what felt like forever.

"Come on. We don't want to lose the group." He said, giving me a smile. I nodded and we ran to catch up with the rest of the group.
