None of us were allowed to sleep in our dormitory. Dumbledore moved everyone to the Great Hall so that the Professors could watch over us. Most, if not all, of the students were asleep. But I couldn't sleep. I heard the footsteps of the professors walking down the aisles. "I've done the dungeons, Headmaster. No sign of Black. Nor anywhere else in the castle." I heard Snape say. When I looked up, I saw Snape talking to Dumbledore.
"I didn't really expect him to linger." Dumbledore spoke up, looking around.
"Remarkable feat, don't you think? To enter Hogwarts castle on one's own, completely undetected..." Dumbledore looked around, his eyes catching mine for a second. "You may recall, prior to the start of term, I did express my concerns when you appointed Professor..." I could only assume he was talking about Lupin.
"I do not believe a single professor inside this castle would have helped Sirius Black enter it, Severus." I close my eyes as I see Snape and Dumbledore look over to me.
"What about a student?" Snape asked, and I tried to listen more carefully.
"I don't believe she has had any contact with her father, nor he with her. No... I feel quite confident the castle is safe. And I'm more than willing to let the students return to their Houses. But tomorrow. For now, let them sleep..." I open my eyes as Dumbledore and Snape walk away. "It's astonishing what the body can endure when the mind allows itself to rest." I sigh as I roll over, looking up at the ceiling. It just looked like a normal ceiling tonight, no magic was cast. Sitting up, I look around for where Fred and George were sleeping. They weren't too far away for me to crawl over. When Dumbledore and Snape weren't looking, I crawled over to Fred and George. Fred was fast asleep but George was laying down, his eyes half open. I tapped him, and his eyes fluttered all the way open, a small smile on his lips.
"Can't sleep?" I shook my head and he lifted up the blanket and I crawled underneath, letting George hold me tightly.
"Thanks Georgie." He nodded and I rested my head on his chest. As soon as his arms wrapped around me, I felt my eyes droop. I was more tired than my brain had let on and soon I was sound asleep.

When all of us had woken up the next morning, Angie and Fred shared a look as they saw me leave George's sleeping bag. My face was a deep red, but in a millisecond, all of the sleeping bags had disappeared. We were sent back to our common rooms but only with the professors watching over us like hawks. All of us got changed and then we were led to our classrooms, and it was like that all day. Angie looked her arm through mine as we walked to Professor Lupin's class. "You know, eventually you will have to decide if you want to be just friends with George, or if you want to be more than that." I rolled my eyes at her, shaking my head.
"I'll tell George I have feelings for him when you tell Fred." Angie blushed a deep red as she looked behind us as the twins followed quite a bit behind.
"Is that all it will take?" She asks me, sighing. She was biting her lip as she looked between me and Fred.
"Umm... it'll be a start." She groaned at me as she stopped dead in her tracks. "Wait what...? You were serious?" She looked back at Fred, shaking a little. The twins were still talking, in their own world, not realising we had stopped walking. They were still quite a bit behind us but it was enough time for Angie to do something.
"Kill me Mirabella." She groaned softly as she marched forward towards Fred. "Fred Weasley." Both of the twins stopped walking, looking up at Angie. "I want to go on a date with you. So ask me to go to Hogsmeade with you." My eyes were wide as I stared at them. Fred's eyes were big and his cheeks were tomato red.
"Umm. yeah, sure." Angie put her hands on her hits as she waited. "Right, Angie, would you like to go with me to Hogsmeade this weekend?" Fred scratched the back of his head as he looked up at her. My mouth was agape as I chuckled at her confidence. I would never be like that with George.
"Yes. I would love to." She smiled widely as she kissed his cheek, turning around and smiling widely at me. "I can't believe I just did that..." She silently squealed as we started to walk again. When I looked back, I saw Fred jump in the air, smiling widely. I giggled and nudged Angie as we sat down in Lupin's classroom. Fred and George sat down right behind us, still talking silently. Though now I heard them talking about Angie and Fred's date. I was happy for them. But I couldn't help wishing it was that easy for me and George. Who even says he likes me? Maybe he only thinks of me as a friend...
I was taken out of my thoughts by the windows being shut and the blinds being closed, the classroom becoming dark. A screen is pulled down over the blackboard as Snape walks forward. I look at Angie confused. "Turn to page 394." She scowls. All of the students stare up at Snape, confused. We are in the right classroom, right?
"Excuse me, sir, but... where's Professor Lupin?" Angie asks him, raising her hand slightly.
"That's not really your concern, is it, Johnson?" Angie looks back at me and shrugs. "Suffice it to say, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Page 394." I sigh, looking down at my book as I turned to the page. Snape starts the presentation, as the first slide comes up on the screen. It's an ancient drawing of a beast. One that I hadn't been particularly familiar with but Angie knew what it was. I looked down at my book, reading the title - WEREWOLVES.
"Werewolves?" I mutter to myself, my eyebrows furrowed as I looked up at Snape.
"But, sir, we've only just begun learning about..." Snape glared over at George, his mouth shutting as soon as Snape's eyes met his.
"Quiet!" I rolled my eyes as I looked back down at my book. "Now. Which of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Most of the class stared silently back at the slide and Snape. Angie and I were the only ones who raised our hands. "No one else?" When no one else raised their hands, staring blankly at Snape, he turned to me and Angie. "Ms Black... this should be interesting." I furrowed my eyes brows, sending Snape a questioning look. I didn't understand.
"An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice in the matter. Furthermore, the werewolf actively hunts humans and responds only to the call of its own kind..." Fred and George let out a low howl and Snape glared over at them. "10 points from Gryffindor." The twins shut up, but I can hear them quietly snickering under their breath. As Snape walked back to the slides, he shook his head. "That is correct, however, Ms Black. I want one piece of parchment from all of you on Monday morning." Just before anyone let out a squeak or a groan, Snape turned back to us, glaring. "And if I hear anyone complain, I'll make it two." People nodded, leaving the classroom quietly. There was a small rumble in the sky, as the four of us walked out. A storm was coming.
