You'd gone into Work the next day with something clutched tightly in your hand. You had something to give a certain someone, and had wanted to do it for a long time.

Once you got to the building, you couldn't help but sigh as you walk up the stairs. You heard a familiar voice you hadn't heard since high school coming from Johnny's office.

You took a deep breath, straightening your appearance before entering the room with confidence.

There she stood, not nearly as talk as you, even with heels on. Her red, bouncy curls still as vibrant as the years prior. Her eyes were just as blue and her face was just as pretty.

She turned around and met you with a fake smile, and it took you a moment to realize that she didn't recognize you in th slightest.

"Hi there Susie." You greeted her, which made her drop her fake smile. She furrowed her brows in confusion.

"How do you know my name, have we met before?" She crossed her arms, trying to place you. She didn't seem as defensive as she used to be, or maybe that was just the fact that she still didn't know who you were.

"Yes I'd say we have. I actually have to  talk to you." You told her before turning to Johnny, who was sheepishly standing behind his desk. "I gotta talk to her."

He nodded for you to take her from his office, as he didn't have the balls to say no to you after what he did. He felt as though you were above him now. Even though you decided not to press charges, he would like to keep you from doing so. As it would go, he let you do whatever you want now to keep the peace.

You nodded back to him and walked out of the room with Susie trailing closely behind you.

Neither of them had noticed what you were carrying in your hand.

When you got to a meeting room, you shut the door, not wanting anyone to hear you both if things got ugly.

You turned back to her, seeing as if she was still just as confused as before.

"I still don't recall meeting you, though you seem familiar..." She trailed off, letting her eyes scan you up and down.

"Well does this help?" You handed her what you'd been holding in your hand this whole time. When she saw what it was she froze.

Looking down at the cheap plastic crown she'd always dreamt of, she figured out exactly who you were.

"You've got to be kidding. There's no way that the little boy grew up to be you." She couldn't believe her eyes. Your body had indeed changed very much over the years. You'd gone from being skinny as a pole, with no curves whatsoever, to being the slightly curvy, model looking girl you were today.

"Believe it or not." You sat back into the table, letting your hands clap over your thighs.

"So what is it that you want?" She asked you, crossing her arms over her chest, the crown still in her hand.

"Well I wanted to give you that actually. It's just been in the back of my closet for the past few years." You gestured to the sparkly piece of cheap plastic. "But I also wants to apologize."

"For what? Stealing my boyfriend and my fall formal crown?" She said snippy, like she was trying to start beef with you. Well you were here to end the beef as it were.

"Hey, I gave you the crown, didn't I?" You joked, chuckling a bit to yourself. " Look, I know that you might see that night as me stealing Benny back, but to be honest with you.... I wouldn't have had to."

"What do you mean? Are you trying to say that Benny would have left me?"

"I mean, he kinda already did. I didn't convince him to dump you, he did it by himself." You replied, hands up in defense.
