How strange it was for you to be able to feel like a teenager again. It was a foreign yet very welcome feeling.
You and Benny ran all over the magical theme park, experiencing new things all day long. When it started to get dark, he had something he wanted to do, so without saying anything, he grabbed you by the hand, pulling you towards one of the attractions that you had not yet been to.
The rivers of America had three attractions, The Sailing Ship Columbia, The Mark Twain Riverboat, and the Davy Crocket Canoes.
You weren't exactly sure which one you were getting on until Benny guided you towards it.
You walked abroad the ramp, as he kept leading you. He pulled you up to the front of the riverboat, standing with you at the railing. You smiled, overlooking the water.
The sun was nearly gone, the lights were turning on, and it seemed to n just you and Benny on the entire boat.
It began to drift away from the port, beginning it's trek through the shallow river.
"It's quite the beautiful view." He whispered, coming up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist.
"It is. The lights are stunning." You replied, but he shook his head in the crook of your neck.
"I was talking about you." He smiled, pressing a kiss against your sensitive sweet spot. You closed your eyes at the warm and tingling feeling, meanwhile your gace went red with a blush after his words. He never ceased to have that charming quality that made you knees weak. Surely anyone else would have gotten use to him by now. But you never would. His words would always have this effect on you.
"Thank you, Angel. You're beautiful too ya know."
"Yeah I know." He smiled cocklily.
"And very humble." You added, making him laugh. Oh the things you do to make him laugh. The best sound in the world, or maybe the second best. The noises he made when he was buried deep inside you came in first.
"Do you remember the song I sang to you when we were kids?" He asked. It was very out of the blue, but you couldn't say you didn't remember.
"The one when I had nightmares?" You asked him, turning your head to look into his big hazel Brown eyes. Those damn eyes would be the end of you.
"Yeah. I almost forgot about it until now." He replied, leaning his head back down in your shoulder.
"Would you sing it to me?" You asked gently. You felt him nod against your shoulder before you heard his soft voice.
"I love you truly, truly dear.
Life with it's sorrows, life with it's tears, all turn to dreams when I feel you are near... for I love you truly, truly dear."Your heart melted. You hadn't heard him sing that song to you in years. It sounded just as sweet all these years later, however now that you were married, bound together as one, it meant so much more.
All of this did. Everything he did, and everything you did. Every kiss, every dance, every night that you made love to each other so passionately was a gift that you were thankful for.
It was all so precious to you, and you would never get over that fact that it was yours. You'd gone through some rough times when you were a kid, but you supposed it was all so that you could have moments like these, where it was just you and Benny. It seemed as though no matter what life would throw at you both, you could always make it through because you had your other half standing by you to get through it all.
"I love you so much." You told him, your voice wasn't even a full whisper, but Benny could hear you loud and clear.
"I love you too. Always." He replied.
