"You're telling me I had a sister all this time?" Benny was confused, but still had a wide smile across his face.

"Half sister, but yeah." The girl replied. She looked very similar to Benny, with her dark hair and tan skin. The only noticeable difference in their features was that her eyes were much darker than Benny's. He had lighter hazel brown eyes, with a gorgeous green color in the middle.

"I can't believe it. What'd you say your name was again?" He seemed so excited, for all his life he'd thought he was an only child.

"Celestine, but I go by Cece." She told him. She seemed just as giddy as he did. All her life she also though she was an only child.

"So how'd you find out about me? I figured my dad didn't want anything to do with me." He asked her. From the time he was a child, he's grown up thinking that his father didn't want him.

"What are you talking about? He's Been trying to find you for years. He saw your name in a newspaper and went crazy." She responded, as if what Benny had said was crazy.

"That's impossible, he left my mom when she was pregnant with me and wouldn't answer any of her calls." Benny protested. There was no way this guy had been looking for him, if he was, he would be in his life by now.

"Benjamin, I know it might seem hard to believe, but he has been looking for you. When he saw that newspaper he sent me right away." She tried to explain but he didn't believe it.

"When did he actually tell you about me? When did you find out that he had a son?" Benny was not taking any of this, for he knew better. He was the one who had to live twenty one years without a father.

"About a week ago." She said honestly. She lowered her head as she heard how bad it sounded. "Okay so maybe he hasn't been looking for you. But now that he sees what you've become, he's very proud of you. He wants to meet you."

"Then why didn't he come? If he wanted to meet me, why did he send you?" He sounded aggressive and frustrated, even though it really wasn't her fault.

"I don't know, I think he was scared." She said. Benny softened his intensity, for he knew his aggression was misplaced.

He sighed, nodding his head. His father was too much of a coward to even come and talk to him himself. At least something good came out of all this though.

"Well at least I know I have a sister." He smiled to her.

"Half sister." She corrected him, smiling back.

"Whatever." He replied, a thought coming to his mind. "Just wait till I tell Mack, she'll go crazy."

"Mack? Who's Mack?" She asked in confusion. Benny smiled and stood up off of the bench, reaching his hand out for her to take. Ever the gentleman.

"That would be my beautiful wife." He responded before leading her to where he knew you would be.

Friends and family of the players had a special sitting area within the arena to spend time with each other while the games were being played, or after the game was over.

Benny opened the door and slightly pushed Cece into the room full of people. She stood there awkwardly waiting for Benny to introduce her.

"Hey guys, this is Cece. She's my sister." He blurted out bluntly.

"Half sister." She corrected.

"Yeah, half sister." He rolled his eyes, waiting for the reaction of his family.

"Wait what?!?!" You stood up, your eyes nearly falling out of your head. "How?"

You looked over at Benny who was snickering to himself at you.

"We have the same dad. I just didn't know about it until today." He said, nodding over to Cece who was still standing there kind of awkwardly.

"If you have have sister.... that means that I have a sister!" You responded, turning to wrap her in a bone crushing hug.

Everyone else in the room was still kind of in shock of Benny's announcement. Benny and Cece looked so similar to each other. There was no doubt they were siblings.

By the end of the night, everyone was very pleasantly surprised to meet someone who they now considered a part of the family. Even Benny's mom, who resented Benny's father, took her in with open arms and thought it was the greatest thing.

Benny was happy to know that he had a sibling, or at least a half sibling, and so were you. You'd always wished you'd had a brother or a sister growing up, and now you sort of had one.

The next day, Benny brought in a newspaper to you, holding it behind his back for suspense.

"Guess what?" He said, a devilish smirk on his face.

"What?" You asked, thinking the look on his face meant some thing different than it did.

"Check this out." He laid the paper across your lap, and when your eyes saw the front page, you nearly gasped.

The headline read in big, bold, black letters the word 'Slugger' and there was a picture of you underneath it. You covered your mouth with your hand as you read the article written beneath.

Oakland Athletics traded the traditional first pitch of the game for a 'first hit' of the game. They brought out onto the field the wife of famed Rookie, Benny 'the jet' Rodriguez, who hit a towering three hundred footer into the stands. Sources say that Benny and her used to play ball together as kids. Could we possibly be seeing the beginning of the first female Major League player? Read tomorrow to find out more about it.

"First female Major League player." Benny emphasized, smiling wider than anything. He knew you'd been capable of this since you were kids, but now it could actually be happening.

"Benny! They called me slugger! That's what my dad used to call me!" You jumped up and wrapped your arms around his neck. He picked you up off the ground, spinning you in a quick circle before setting you down and looking into your eyes.

"I'm so proud of you. So proud." He dropped his head to me his lips meet yours in a kiss. It was the kind of kiss that conveyed all the emotions to the person you kissed.

He really was proud of you, for he knew all this time what you were capable of, and now, with others bragging on you, you were finally able to believe it.

"You're amazing, and I love you." He said in between kisses.

"I love you too, angel."
