Baking and drawing is all (M/N) likes to do to avoid his problems. He took to the seas to draw the beautiful scenery and to eat all types of food. His unique ability makes him scared to get closed to people since they could use him but that changes...
Sighing, I went back up to the Going Merry noticing how damaged it was. I started repairing what I could of it. Silence, that was the only thing I heard and needed to hear. I was worried, I needed to find a way to talk to Ace, tell him what power Blackbeard held. I hammered, filled out wooden holed with the right materials before sanding it down to smooth it. My mind suddenly lit up at the Vivre Card. It always pointed someone in the direction of the person who made this card.
Getting up, I saw the work I did and was satisfied with how well I performed it before going into the kitchen where everyone was eating. Zoro and Luffy have been patched up by now. I walked up to Luffy before tapping him on the shoulder. He gave me a curious look as I pointed my head towards the door. He went outside with me while holding his plate of meat.
"Luffy, I need to go somewhere for a bit. It's really important. I promise to meet you back before you leave for Sky Island."
"Shishishi, just come back"
"Thank you"
Quickly, I jumped onto my ship and took off before anyone else could try and stop me. I was right to run on solar energy since it's was mostly sunny all the time. I set the sails and took off the Vivre Card to see which direction it would point in. I followed it and readjusted my sails when needed. I ended up coming across Buggy's crew with Ace on it.
"Ace!"
"Oh (M/N)! Did you miss me that much?"
"He woke up?!" The crew screamed as I jumped up onto the boat and went up to Ace. I put my hand on his shoulder as his Devil Fruit began singing in happiness. Quickly, I sat down in front of him with a serious look as he caught on very quickly. He ate as I began talking, explaining everything about Blackbeard's Devil Fruit power that I could feel. Ace's eyes narrowed.
"So his Devil Fruit, which is something like a black hole could eat mine?"
"Yeah!"
"...Did he touch you?"
Ace seemed very concerned as he asked that question. I nodded my head at that as his eyes narrowed in worry. He continued eating and drinking before gulping all the food down. I explained that his powers would stop working if Blackbeard touched him from what I felt. His hat pulled down slightly more on his face. Buggy seemed to then realise who I was. He pointed a finger at me before screaming.
"What's the Deadly Baker doing here?!"
"Talking to Ace as you can see"
"Yeah! This is my boyfriend as you can see we've been happily married for a few years"
"No we're not and if we were married then I would be a husband not a boyfriend"
"Even better!"
Shaking my head, I burst out laughing as Ace laughed with me. His hand patting my shoulder as he laughed. His devil fruit was really thriving off my light touches. Buggy was about to shake my hand but Ace shook his hand instead with a forced smile suddenly on his face. I lifted an eyebrow at his actions. He was oddly possessive right now. That's when it clicked, Buggy had a devil fruit too.
"I'll be taking my leave now. I've informed you of everything I saw, bye bye handsome"
"I'll come with you (M/N)! I have something to show you! Thanks Buggy!"
Opening my bag, I dropped a small pouch of money in Buggy's hands as a thanks for taking care of Ace before I jumped down onto my boat with Ace on his ship. He told me he would lead me to the place he would take me. I agreed reluctantly but I knew the crew could survive a few days without me. We both had fun taking down a few pirate ships along the way. No doubt that would increase my bounty but it was fun.
Elsewhere - Mary Geoise
Third P.O.V
A meeting was called upon for the seven Shichibukai of the Seas at one of the Navy Headquarters. Doflamingo and Bartholomew Kuma arrived first. Doflamingo went to sit on the ledge of the balcony while Kuma was reading the bible. Two marines began fighting which caused the old lady who was a marine known as Crane to stop it. They told her they weren't fighting willingly before she realised it was Doflamingo's doing. She told him to stop.
Sengoku the Buddha who was a marine came into the room with his well behaved goat at his side. He greeted the two before saying they should get on with the meeting. Doflamingo only came because he was bored. Sengoku noted out loud how that was dangerous before Mihawk strolled into the room as if he owned the place. He only came due to the news about a pirate meeting.
The meeting was about to begin before an unexpected visitor arrived by the name of Lafeita. One of Blackbeard's members. A man so brutal he was sent to be exiled. He had come to recommend Blackbeard to be a Shichibukai before he took his leave.
Sengoku and Crane were silent before getting on with the meeting. It was then that a marine came through the door with a recommendation from the five elders. He held up the poster of the pirate noting the 170,000,000 Beli of a pirate wearing a black hat similar to that a witch with slight tuffs (H/C) hair sticking out, (E/C) eyes and a smile.
"We don't even know his name however" Sengoku said as he looked down at the poster. The person to him seemed quite harmless especially with a blunt sword. However, he seemed to love wrecking things for fun like pirate ships and marines who apparently had done wrong. A small troublemaker in his eyes but it was undeniable that he had great potential. It was really a miracle to be recommended by the five elders.
"Wait why is he called Sweet Deadly Baker? He poisons them or something?" Crane questioned
"No, he just happened to used to be a baker"
"Then why the sweet part?" Sengoku questioned
"The people thought it would be a great play on words. His sweets rumoured to be the best."
"How's a baker going to deter pirates?" Sengoku asked as the marine became quiet. Doflamingo began laughing as he saw the wanted poster. He looked rather weak and probably was however he shouldn't judge this person just yet. At least he was quite a looker. Better than a lot of ladies he's slept with. Kuma on the other hand wondered how someone like him could survive all in the ocean alone. He looked helpless until he saw those eyes in the poster peering up and he saw the sheer willpower.
"He isn't just a baker, he's wanted by the five nobles"
Everyone was surprised the marine had said that. Sengoku was quiet as was everyone else. He felt as though he had seen that face before. The marine then bowed again before opening up a letter. He began reading off of it.
"The baker is potentially even more dangerous than at first glance. During the few sightings with Fire Fist Ace, he was shown grabbing his shoulder which has enhanced Fire Fist's Ace abilities from what was usually seen. Even being in the same vicinity with him has aided his Devil Fruit power. Former Shichibukai Crocodile also came into contact and with contact his abilities were enhanced from what Crocodile admitted."
For once, a silent meeting was commenced.
