Baking and drawing is all (M/N) likes to do to avoid his problems. He took to the seas to draw the beautiful scenery and to eat all types of food. His unique ability makes him scared to get closed to people since they could use him but that changes...
Panting, I ran up to the boat and jumped in before sitting down. I wished I had Chopper right now to help me. My eyes were awake as I propped myself up against the boat. I gave them a thumbs up to show I had dealt with the enemy. Luffy laughed as he wrapped his arms around me multiple times. He brought me closer to him as I let out a groan of pain.
"Shishishi, you did really well! I didn't see it but you must've been spectacular!"
"Thanks Luffy"
Soon, we came out the tunnel before we saw Nami and the rest. She was glad as we were alright while I casually stepped out of the boat and hauled myself to the infirmary as I saw an old man lying in bed. Patching myself up, I went back outside only for Chopper fuss over me despite him complimenting my diligence over my wounds. He said I did a great job before the others came in. It turns out he protected Chopper and the ship.
Nighttime fell and we decided to camp outside nearby the ship. We sat around the fire as Sanji cooked a large meal. Somehow, Usopp got his hands on a blackboard and chalk...in a forest. I didn't question the logic. The mantra thing was brought up and Sanji answered that he only knew it could predict our next moves. I withheld my information to being it up properly after the rest talked.
"From what I know, it must be a very advanced use of observation haki. It allows one to see a few seconds into the future."
"Damn baker, your smarter than you let on"
"And your dumber than you let on"
"Don't make me put that mouth to some actual good use"
"I might try when you become more of a man because right now you're anything but a man." I teased while eating some sweets. Zoro snapped his eyes wide with red painted across his face as he glared at me. His position from lying on the rocks had shifted to him being prompted up on one elbow. Sanji laughed too while Luffy was confused. This place was a place one army has been trying to find which made Luffy shocked. Luffy then jumped as he said we would be finding the gold. I let out a yawn before I walked to one of the few tents set up.
"Night everyone"
Softly, I said those words before heading into my personal tent. I went into my bundle of blankets, I was thinking about some things before turning onto my side. I was about to drift off but I felt someone slide in beside me. It was Luffy, he actually looked tired which came as a surprise. Propping myself on one elbow, I let him hug me as I played with his hair. I could feel his devil fruit bouncing around. I managed to coax him into a sleepy state.
"(M/N)... you make me really happy, happier..than most. Can you talk to me in your girly voice... I won't make fun, I promise."
"My hat has been off since I got in the tent, silly. Go to bed Luffy, we'll have an adventure tommorow"
"Night night.. kissy goodnight?"
"Goodnight Captain"
Sighing, I smiled as I leaned in to kiss his cheeks as he giggled before drifting off to sleep. His rubber fruit seemed to settle down too. His rubber fruit was really energetic all the time. I continued playing before I noticed Sanji coming in too and sliding up next to me. His front body pressed against my back as his hands wrapped around my waist. He buried his face into my neck as he brought me closer to him. I could smell the faint cigarette smell wafting off of him.
"You used to do this a lot back then at the Baratie... Sanji do you remember when we used to talk about the stars and finding the all blue... those were the times"
"They were... can you tell me more about yourself (M/N)? After all this time I feel like I barely know you...even you know about before I became a cook.."
"Hmm, well... I used to eat sweets all the time. It's probably why I still eat them so much"
"Why?"
That questioned was proposed to me as I caught my breath. During our talk , I had moved half of Luffy's upperbody onto my chest as I leaned onto Sanji. Sanji noticed my hesitance and was willing to back off but I stopped him. My eyes softened as I watched Sanji, a sad smile present on my face.
"Sugar was really easy to get from where I came from... I was dirt poor. I used to mix it with polluted water and dirt to make a snack. It was my way of survival but I ended up developing an addiction to sugar"
"(M/N)... I won't let you go hungry ever."
"Thanks Sanji" Sniffling slightly, I noticed Luffy cried too in his sleep from one eye so I tried to stop but Sanji turned my face to him as he began kissing my cheeks. He was gentle and sweet. Laughing lightly, I quickly stopped my tears. Soon, I relaxed in between the two of them. Sanji's jaw remained buried in my neck.
"Sanji..?"
"Yes?"
"... you're really sweet and caring. Thank you, you always cook for us and you make sure it eat well. You were really nice when I first arrived on the Baratie and you still are. There's so many times where you a caring and sweet loveable person that I can't thank you enough for..."
"(M/N)..."
"You think you're not caring and sweet but you really are. I just wanted you to know that"
"The same can be sai-"
"No no no, now it's about you. No one else. I really do care for you..."
Silence.
Sanji's grip tightened around my waist as I could feel he was now crying too. I wiggled slightly to turn to Sanji to kiss his cheeks as I spooned him in one hand while the other interlaced with Sanji's hand. He cried for a good while before drifting off to sleep. I was glad he got that off of his chest. He looked exhausted so I turned onto my back and spooned him and Luffy before drifting off to sleep.
"Goodnight you two loveable idiots"
