Baking and drawing is all (M/N) likes to do to avoid his problems. He took to the seas to draw the beautiful scenery and to eat all types of food. His unique ability makes him scared to get closed to people since they could use him but that changes...
Gushing, I brought my sketchbook out eagerly and began drawing away. A heavy blush coat my cheeks because of the awe inspiring from the sheer beauty of this place. We were coming here to get a carpenter to join our crew. The lady said there were some of the best here. We really did need one since Merry was not in good shape. My boat was fine since I always repaired it.
"Luffy, leave me to find the carpenter, I'll find us the hottest babe" Sanji proclaimed
"I thought you have me" I pouted
"Stupid Sanji, we need a big man for our ship. He has to be at least 5 metres tall" Luffy stated
"That's too much Luffy. He won't fit in our little ship."
Agreeing with Usopp's words, I continued drawing the city as it came into full view. Zoro was concerned if a carpenter would even join us since we were pirates which I nodded at. He spared me a glance in my direction and noticed my red cheeks while I just chuckled since it was from the scenery of such a beautiful place. He turned away from me almost instantly. Silently, I gushed over Chopper when he got super excited if we got to have new friends. I wanted to hug him so badly. So cute just like a child. Luffy tried drawing what he wanted our carpenter to look like but it was just badly drawn.
"It's not too bad Luffy" I said nicely and it was true
"I would jump in the sea at first sight of it. He even looks to be part octopus so he might follow me in" Sanji said.
"Hey, you better not be talking about me!" Zoro exclaimed as he walked up the stairs to the upper deck.
"Hehe"
Musing to myself, I gladly took the money that Nami gave me for the week and all the money she previously was supposed to give me for my allowance. It was a few million Beli. Jumping down, I stored it away in the safe which was kept hidden in my drawer under all my clothes. I never kept any of my money together and kept it in many small discreet hiding places where people didn't think of hiding it. Clapping my hands, I was glad at how much I had saved up. Around 117 Million Beli while not including the treasure from Sky Island. It was good but I took around 1 Million Beli to go with me once we arrived. I also put some of the treasure that didn't interest me in one bag so I could turn it in.
"Land Ho!"
"Land Ahooo!"
Smiling at their cheerful voices, I took my fourth sketchbook with me. Also, I managed to finally make a camera so I took it along with me in my sling bag. I made sure to pack a large bag of snacks for myself. I also brought fruits like berries if I saw any cute birds. I also took initiative to change into some slacks and a white tank top with a black jacket. For fashion, I threw in some dog tags around my neck to hide the necklace Whitebeard gave before I tucked that necklace under my shirt.
Realising my witch like hat was just a bit odd, I took it off but had it loosely tied around my neck so I could pull it on and off whenever I desired. Stepping out and onto the Going Merry, a man wearing a hat who was fishing immediately pointed to another direction and told us to go in from the back. A dirty joke made it's way into my mind and I had a good giggle before stopping because it was immature. We thanked the man before we went around the island to enter from the back.
"Wow, Water 7 is so cool!" Chopper excitedly said
"This city is the best!" Luffy yelled
"Everything really is floating on water... Even the houses!"
The whole island was built on a sunken island. There were pillars with archways at the bottom of every building which made it well supported. Another man casually asked us if we wanted to rob him but told us the way to the shipyard to fix our ship. Zoro tried to pull the sails but he nearly broke the whole pillar in half. I helped Usopp by hammering a sheet of thick metal into place neatly. Everyone was speculating why they weren't scared of us and we couldn't really find a conclusion. We eventually arrived. Nami also concluded that we would change in our treasure before finding the carpenter called Iceberg.
Luffy wanted to see Iceberg immediately but Nami warned him that their treasure was basically on full display. Luckily mine was hidden in my bag. Usopp and Nami took to carrying the money since Luffy can't really take care of it. He got upset and went up to me before jumping up towards me. Freaking out, I caught him as he sighed happily by wrapping his arms around my neck loosely. He was already getting a boost from being in the same vicinity but he seemed happier with a larger boost. Nami rubbed her temples at his childish antics. I told him to climb onto my back instead of my front and he gladly did. I pulled up my hat.
"Hey (M/N), what's a bull rental shop?" Nami questioned
"It's kind of like a boat moves by itself. Its mounted on a sea creature. A bit like a horse in land. They use it here since everything is on water. There are different ranges of boat." I stated
"Wah! That's so cool! (M/N) let's rent a bull!" Luffy said
Walking into the shop, a man who was reading a newspaper welcomed us into the shop. We picked two Yagaras which were the smallest boats since there weren't a lot of us. He was amazed we had followed our logs here. He went into further detail about the boats which he recommended. We went out and were greated by the creatures. They licked Luffy in the face as I laughed and offered them a few berries which they gladly took. They were so sweet.
"(M/N) you're with me shishishi!" Luffy laughed"
Originally, Luffy sat in front of me while I was in the back but the treasure took up one whole seat on Usopp's and Nami's side so Usopp moved over to our side while I sat in-between Luffy's legs. Luffy was pretty happy with this arrangement since I made him feel better. He rested his head on mine before pointing and telling us to go after we paid the initial amount for rental.
A/N: Luffy is so unaware of his feelings for (M/N). It's going to take a while before he realises. Anyways thanks for reading!
