Baking and drawing is all (M/N) likes to do to avoid his problems. He took to the seas to draw the beautiful scenery and to eat all types of food. His unique ability makes him scared to get closed to people since they could use him but that changes...
There was tense atmosphere all of a sudden. My eyes widened as I went to put my hand the hilt of my dull sword as I looked over to Aokiji who was still sitting on the ground. Continuing on, he explained how we could all become threats to the World Government especially with Robin on our side. She was a danger to the World Government and had the 79 Million Beli bounty placed on her ever since she was eight. He told us that Robin would only betray us as Sanji got mad and had to be held back by Usopp. Robin got upset as she used her Devil Fruit on him but ash she broke all his bones, he simply turned to ice.
"Ararara, It seems I've said too much. How disappointing... I thought you would be smarter than this"
"CLUTCH"
Those ice pieces shattered as the hands broke them but Aokiji only re-emerged from the ice, completely unharmed. He told Robin that she was harsh as he grabbed some grass and turned it into an Ice Saber. Zoro intercepted him and Sanji kicked away his Ice Saber. Luffy went in to punch Aokiji in the stomach as I used my Observation Haki to briefly see the future. I yelled at them to back off since Aokiji would freeze them. They didn't listen and payed the price.
Their screams could be heard as all three of them fell onto the ground yet Aokiji just stood there. As is nothing had happened. He seemed happy that Robin had good friends as I sensed with my Haki that he was going in to attack Robin. Rushing in, I grabbed the back of Robin's shirt and quickly made a run for it just in time out of Aokiji's icely death hug. Robin was very hard to move however. She look terrified.
It's like her legs gave up so I picked her up. She was a bit heavy for me but I did as best as I could and followed Luffy's orders to take her away. I began full on sprinting away in different directions to narrowly avoid getting frozen over by Aokiji. Suddenly, I jumped up as Aokiji's ice froze the entire ground while in the background I could hear everyone screaming at me to get Robin away. There was so much pressure.
"Ararara you're good at Observation Haki. You've progressed so much in the last few minutes."
"Can't you just let us go?! You were here for a walk" I yelled
"I changed my mind... She's a dangerous women to be left alive"
My strength to carry Robin was not lasting very long and Aokiji was bound to catch us soon. There was only so many places we could run to on a small island. Unfortunately, Aokiji managed to freeze my foot at that moment and I began falling foward so I hurled Robin as far away onto the grass as I could before face planting into the ice. My hands prevented any bleeding from happening. I looked over to Robin who was trembling as Aokiji was slowly approaching our direction.
"Ararara, there's only so far you can ru-"
Smirking at Aokiji's shock, I took that brief moment to punch the ice around my foot and yanked it out. My fist was red and my foot was very cold despite my shoes. One of my shoes were stuck in the ice that I failed to yank out. The ice was freezing cold as I pulled out the blade and charged at him. I cut him into two but since I can't use Armament Haki then it was useless since he was made out of ice. He managed to freeze my clothes to the ground so I could only stare helplessly as he froze Robin completely. The pain of the ice burn was nothing compared to the pain seeing a friend hurt.
"You bastard!" Luffy screamed
"Chill Kid, if you thaw her properly then she'll live. However, her body is very brittle right now. If she breaks apart then she'll die. Like if I were to... Let's say hit her like this.."
"NO!"
My Conquerer's Haki activated and Aokiji stopped as he was just about to swing when I yelled at the top of my lungs. My eyes felt like they burned a bit at that. Shocked, Aokiji turned to me for a brief second which opened the opportunity for Luffy to grab Robin's ice statue before he passed it to Usopp. Luffy ordered Usopp and Chopper to start thawing Robin. Nami tried to attack Aokiji but he easily tossed her aside. Sanji and Zoro got back up but Luffy ordered everyone not to fight. He wanted to fight alone.
"Cool with me but be warned it'll be a fight to the death."
Silently, everyone left except me since my clothes were still frozen to the ground. I watched as Luffy launched a barrage of attacks on Aokiji only to have it do nothing and he easily froze Luffy into an ice statue. My lips trembled as I tried to get up only to have it fail. My breath could be seen from how cold it was. The thing that surprised me however was that Aokiji didn't kill Luffy. It was his gratitude for helping defeat Crocodile. Aokiji's form was now infront of me as he pet my head. My eyes widened as this was the first contact with me so now I could feel his Devil Fruit. It felt so chilly.
"Ararara, it's the first time I've met an Enhancer and here I thought you were a myth. Say since I didn't kill your captain...why don't you tell me your name?"
"I thought the the Alabasta incedent was enough!"
"Ararara, that's right but still it's better than calling you a baker... Even a nickname is fine"
"Will you promise to leave as soon as possible?"
"Yes, it's unfortunate to have it end like this"
"It's (M/N)..."
My hat mumbled as I glared. Aokiji noticed my trembling state in growing anger so he assured me he wouldn't kill Luffy. Biting my lip a little, I thanked him as he soothed my worries about my captain through petting my hair. He left shortly afterwards. I wondered why he bothered comforting me.
"(M/N)! Luffy!" Sanji and Zoro came
"Quick! Thaw Luffy first, I'll still be here"
My hat demanded as Zoro nodded to help lift Luffy. Sanji stared at me for a few seconds unable to see a way to help so I asked him to grab a bucket and dump the salt water on me. It worked. I thanked Sanji as I stared at the ground as I sat up when he did. My mind was flashing in alarm. Turning to Sanji, he must've noticed so he bent down to hug me. I gripped on tightly to the back of his shirt. My hat was taken off since it was wet.
"I-It's alright (M/N) ... We're all going to be fine."
"...I was s-scared he would kill one of us" I chocked out.
"There there, Robin was saved."
"Thank goodness"
Sighing in relief, I buried myself in Sanji's neck for a few minutes while I breathed heavily in and out. Sanji rubbed circles into my back as I relaxed. I managed to calm down. Sanji was at my side as we walked back. I had to part ways to grab my boat so I assured him I would be fine. Spotting it, I ran onto it and on top as a thanks for the sweets. I folded it before putting it away so I could sail to the Going Merry. I set the sails in the right direction before setting off to Merry.
"That was scary..."
