Baking and drawing is all (M/N) likes to do to avoid his problems. He took to the seas to draw the beautiful scenery and to eat all types of food. His unique ability makes him scared to get closed to people since they could use him but that changes...
"Lava from Mauri Volcano. We're glad to soon have you in the family."
"Thank you. Hm, it tastes really sweet." I muttered at the taste.
I waved Smoothie goodbye before trying to catch up to Katakuri with my drink. Unfortunately, I got stopped by a few guests and got bombarded with a lot of questions. They weren't aware I was Katakuri's fiance so they thought it was alright to flirt with me despite rejecting them. That was until Katakuri came to me and put a hand on my shoulder giving everyone else a glare. I thanked him as he kept the arm around my shoulder.
"Thank you, Kata. I wish I could fight them but that would just cause a scene." I sighed.
"It's not a big deal. I'll just stay close to ward any off. You're my fiancé right now, not theirs." Katakuri answered.
"That's kind of you to say." I remarked.
Eventually, Katakuri and I made it to our spot, at the table with Big Mom and the rest of her guests. Some people asked us our current status since we were sitting next to each other at this table and I wasn't family. Before I could answer them, we heard Big Mom's voice booming. She was happy at all the treasure everyone brought. She was extra excited about the treasure chest that Luffy had given back in Fishman Island.
"So what is the relationship between you two?" Big News Morgan asked.
"What do you mean? We just have a typical friendship. I was invited simply because Sanji is my crew member."
Katakuri nodded at that. We still planned on keeping the engagement a secret. Thankfully, Big Mom was also willing to do that. Judge was next to me and it felt awkward with him. Soon, the main event began as Sanji and Pudding arrived on a cloud with the announcer celebrating the two. I could see the malicious intent they had towards one another. Katakuri got up and pulled me along since something was wrong. I questioned him about it and we both predicted gun shots from one of Bege's men would be aimed at Sanji and Pudding before he could pull up the veil.
Rushing in, I jumped up and slashed the bullets away while my sword lay in it's sheath as everyone gasped. Katakuri aimed another jellybean at the man who shot and took him out. It was chaos for the next few seconds and I began free falling before I landed in Katakuri's arms. I thought Bege and Luffy had an alliance?! Why would his men try to kill Sanji and Pudding?! A bunch of Luffy's bursted out of the cake after that but they were all fakes except one.
Rage. That was the first thing Big Mom started doing as she started stealing people's life spans. From enhancing, I could tell Katakuri was scared for him siblings deep down so I reassured him before rushing over to Big Mom and enhancing her to take on all her anger which was working. The real Luffy sprung into the air but was met with Katakuri's Haki imbued fist which he got stuck in. For some reason, Big Mom turned her anger to Katakuri, asking furiously if he was saving her.
"Lin Lin! Luffy was after your picture of the lady."
"THAT STRAWHAT!" Big Mom yelled.
In that chaos, I saw Brook approaching to break the image and if he did then Big Mom was going to kill everyone here. I rushed over but it was too late and Brook broke the photo. I grabbed the photo and honestly I had no idea who's side I was on. Bege was too suspicious and using Luffy to his advantage. The gun that Bege aimed at Judge's head was kicked away by my. Even Jimbei realised that this was not part of the deal as he turned to Bege but Bege shrugged his shoulders.
Still, Jimbei took the blame as he told Big Mom which resulted in her getting pissed. I was going to go back in but Bege tried to shoot me, confusing Luffy. The fact that Sanji's brothers found this funny while Judge cried showed he badly he fucked them up. The other two by Bege's side tried to shoot at me but I quickly took the two down before giving Bege a kick, sending him flying for aiming at Luffy.
A gun was pointed at the back of my head and I was going to slice the guy but Katakuri stepped in and obliterated the guy with his punch as he grabbed me into his arm. It felt like everything was in slow motion as he helped me. He glared at the people who even dared to shoot me. After that, we turned to Jimbei who was asked the life or death question only to pick life. However, there were no consequences because he wasn't scared of Big Mom.
Still Luffy, didn't understand that Bege betrayed him so he ran up to show Big Mom the picture which made her scream loudly hurting my ears and making them bleed. I quickly covered them as I resisted her Conquerer's Haki and fought back with my own causing shockwaves as she went into a rage. Jumping out of Katakuri's arms, I went to get Big Mom under control while he went to take down Bege. I wanted to make sure no one precious to Katakuri and I got killed by Big Mom.
As Big Mom began crying out for her mother, I rushed up and placed by my hands on her leg right as Big Mom was about to hit one of her own children and Luffy. Right as Bege and his men surrounded her, she released her Conquerer's Haki on an even higher level making Bege falter. Her hand right above Luffy stopped. He screaming still continued on as my ears bled. Man, she was really loud. Luffy got up and started to leave. The mirror the others tried to leave with broke which made my eyes widen. My ears were going to burst and I could barely dodge the swing Big Mom aimed at me.
The others went to attack Bege and the Strawhat Crew since they thought Luffy plotted this. I jumped up onto Big Mom and placed my hands against her neck. The Germa 66 left too with Sanji while I offered them a smile after they managed to transform. I pointed them to the castle and they nodded. Finally, my enhancing was getting through to her and she calmed down. Katakuri used his Mochi Mochi Devil Fruit to pull me down safely to him. He tried talking to me but I couldn't hear anything but static. It was disorientating, being temporarily death.
Smoothie gave Katakuri and I, a glance over. Katakuri was mad at Bege tooo for his men attacking me. Katakuri stuffed all the cannons in Bege's Fortress with Mochi while I went back to calming Big Mom. Finally she relaxed and Smoothie gave me a thumbs up while I was praying on the inside that Big Mom didn't get mad at the Strawhats. Katakuri managed to snatch back Brulee and they were exchanging words I couldn't hear. Big Mom patted my head with a pleased face and I wondered what she was saying to me.
"Don't worry, Big Mom is only after Bege right now."
Katakuri wrote on my hand while I nodded before getting a pounding headache from all the screaming earlier. Big Mom shook the whole fortress while she must've been yelling at Bege. I was glad I couldn't hear now. I didn't want to put up with anymore screaming for today. She headbutted the castle while a few siblings tried to help me. I saw some panicked faces before I saw the Fortress turn back into Bege with the Germa 66 and Ceaser popping out.
'I knew they were going to crash a wedding but what the hell? Please don't crash mine like this... If I recover my hearing, I don't want to lose it again.'
A/N: Fun fact, since the story was changed Bege kinda lied to Luffy during the alliance to try and take the opportunity to kill Big Mom and Sanji for shits and giggles. As well as Pudding. Second fun fact, (M/N) won't have his hearing back yet so a lot of fun stuff will happen. Poor (M/N). If you're wondering why (M/N) stayed to help, he knew it was impossible to escape and he wanted to make sure Katakuri's siblings were safe since he cares about them. Thanks for reading!
