Baking and drawing is all (M/N) likes to do to avoid his problems. He took to the seas to draw the beautiful scenery and to eat all types of food. His unique ability makes him scared to get closed to people since they could use him but that changes...
Luffy dragged me along while I dragged Zoro. I paid the money for the ride and Zoro had to go in the first carriage with Luffy while I went in the second despite Luffy's protests. It was nice to see the scenery from above while feeling the swaying of the wheel that overlooked the river. It was nice to be by myself occasionally on rides like this. Seeing the view from up there brought back some good memories.
"Hey Ace? Why did we have to come to this theme park? I thought we were looking for Luffy and why at night time in the desert where it's the coldest?" I asked.
"I wanna go to the Ferris wheel with you of course!"
"Ferris wheel? What's that?"
"Eh? You don't know? C'mon then I'll show you angel!"
"I told you to drop the angel!"
"Aw, but you like it and you look like one unless you want babe! Now let's go! I wanna show you the view from up there!"
Smiling, I reminisced the memory before tears came out. I remembered kissing him there under the moonlight. I really did miss Ace after all this time. Wiping away my tears, I laughed a little with a sad smile before cheering myself up by remembering that Ace was in a better place. I really did love him and it's sad our relationship ended like that if it even was one. I'd like to think it was. I leaned against the glass wall while looking out with a smile.
Monkey D Luffy P.O.V
"Hey Zoro! (M/N) looks happy but also sad? Is he okay?" I asked sticking my face to the window.
"I'm sure he's just remembering about the past. Hey, don't make it obvious you're looking at him." Zoro said as he looked behind where (M/N) was.
"Do you think he's thinking about like the guy who he would do kissy things with?" I asked
"...do you mean a boyfriend?" Zoro looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah whatever that's called." I stuck my tongue out.
"I'm sure he has had one but I heard that he has extremely overprotective fathers so that could have stopped him." Zoro said.
[M/N][L/N] P.O.V
Exiting the carriage, I grabbed Zoro's hand and walked with him while Luffy talked about the whole ride. There were a group of Marines that dared to approach Luffy but once they saw me, they turned into putty while asking for pictures which confused Luffy. Zoro has gotten somewhat used to it since it happened during our shopping trips with Mihawk. We left to my boat safely after that where Law was just chilling reading a comic book. We went back to the Bartolomeo Ship where we were greeted with tears of joy.
After having a nice dinner on Bartolomeo's ship, Law and I headed back down while Zoro and Luffy stayed so they continued indulging in their guilty pleasures. For Zoro that was alcohol and for Luffy it was food. Law used his Devil Fruit to get us down before I went inside and put on an apron to make mochi. I made it while Law continued reading the comic book. Eventually, Law began a conversation.
"(M/N)." Law called out.
"Yes Little Law?" I smiled
"I want to hear more about yourself...before you became a baker." Law stated
"What is there to hear?" I hummed.
I continued smiling but it felt slightly forced as I pounded the Mochi. I'm glad it was just Law and I in the room. My mind went blank and I came to a halt before cheering myself up by smiling again. Some memories came up and I remembered them. Maybe it was alright to let Law know some bits. If Sanji could then I guess Law could too. I put away the mochi quietly before putting a plate of cookies at the table which Law took one. I sat down and sighed before asking Law what he wanted to know.
"Tell me what you want to." Law said.
"My parents were nice people even if I don't remember them as well as I'd like to. I can't remember much but at some point I was left by the shore for a good reason and the Sea Kings took care of me." I explained.
"...Why were you left behind?" Law asked.
"I didn't know at the time but now I think it was because I was an enhancer. I somewhat remember the day they left me behind and heard my parents crying. They didn't want to leave me behind but had to."
Law remained silent.
"You know.. my mom had the prettiest smile which suited her because she was the most beautiful lady I've ever seen in my eyes. My dad had a polite smile and was always worrying that he passed his smile onto me which did happen." I smiled fondly
"Are they still alive?" Law questioned hesitantly.
"No. They aren't." I looked away.
"I'm sorry." Law apologised honestly.
"It's fine, I'm glad I opened up to you. You opened up to me about Lammy and your parents. You even told me about Cora-san so I feel like it's fair I show my trust in you." I beamed
"Fuck."
Law turned away from me as his cookie dropped onto the table as he looked away with a red face. Blinking, I wondered what was wrong until I realised that he was slightly flustered over my trust in him. Getting up, I kissed Law's forehead after I took off his hat, wishing him a goodnight before heading to the bathroom to change while Law was shocked by my bold move. Afterwards, I climbed into bed with Law sneaking his hands under my shirt for his usual dose of enhancement. I hummed slightly.
"Something on your mind?" Law asked.
"Yeah, you dropped the ya suffix you had. You don't normally use it with your crew so I guess we really are growing closer. I'm happy, thank you."
"You know... I... like cute things."
"I know, you have Bepo as a shining example. He is cute and you are too in this moment."
"You really know how to make a guy happy huh (M/N)?"
"I guess I do. Goodnight again Law."
My body relaxed considerably more and I let my eyes close while snuggling into Law. A faint smile on my face as Law out his head in the crook of my neck. I feel asleep that night easily while Law moved one hand to stroke my hair before falling asleep himself. It felt oddly relaxing just to be in someone's arms who I trusted as if nothing could hurt me. I felt safe and in that moment, I was happy.

No bad parents for (M/N) in this fanfic(I never explicitly state the parents are bad cause there's too many like that and we need some wholesome parents-). Second fun fact, (M/N) knows all about Law's past because Law trusts him which says a lot. Also the nickname angel from Ace still makes (M/N) upset now because they were together in a way.
