"Aight, so is it safe for me to show my face? They know Luffy but does Kaido know about me?"

"Most likely. You should be safe" Kinemon replied.

Law and I seemed skeptical about that answer but took his word at the reasoning that Kaido only really cared for physically strong individuals with Devil Fruits. Kinemon advised me to still think about being a Taikomochi which I begrudgingly did. I would head with Robin and try to do business. Suddenly, the sky changed colour. Penguin wondered if it was about to rain but I could feel the presence of Kaido. Law called us over and we saw Kaido flying in the sky.

Everyone stepped outside and saw Kaido flying in his dragon form. Momonosuke transformed into a dragon too as Shinobu wondered what happened. Kinemon asked why he Kaido would come to here before Law explained it was because we caused trouble. I apologized for that before Sanji could pick a fight with Law. He explained how we had picked a fight with Kaido when we took down Doflamingo and Ceaser Clown. Luffy left to go take care of the situation. Without hesitation, I went too so I could calm Luffy down.

Soon, Law appeared next to me, telling me not to try not expose myself. I took him seriously, the situation was very serious. We caught up with Luffy and Law pointed out how we got into this mess for being nice. I gripped my sword as I got slightly angry and yelled at Law that I didn't want to see children starve. His glare softened briefly before he went quiet, understanding my reasons. Luffy didn't say anything but he must have understood that, Law knew something about me that he didn't.

Luffy leaped into the air right as a beam was shot at the place we were previously. Law's face of panic turned up when we saw Luffy using Elephant Gun to punch Kaido on the head. He was sent crashing into the ground of the village. Law and I looked at each other before nodding and chasing after Luffy, using my enhancement and Law's Devil Fruit to move quickly before we appeared in town. I saw Speed on the ground and Luffy with a dark look.

Tama didn't get home safely. My blood rose and I felt angry as Law told Luffy that we needed to leave but Luffy was angry. He told us that if he beat up Kaido now then everyone would be happy and the plan would be finished. To my surprise, he passed me his strawhat, telling me to take care of it. Luffy ordered me to stand back before he called out to Kaido in anger, telling him that he would be Pirate King. Law grabbed my arm and I nodded at Luffy before leaving. We hid behind a building and watched Luffy fight Kaido before seeing Kaido turn to normal and beat Luffy in one swing with his club.

Immediately, Law wanted to Shambles him to us but in my panicked state, I was unable to predict the nail bullet that had hit Law. His Devil Fruit stopped working which I realised so I quickly grabbed Law and pulled him away, taking a nail for him. I sensed Hawkins behind us and hauled our asses away. I avoided any hits and managed to use the accumulated speed to pick Law up  which I wouldn't be able to do if I had no momentum. I booked it from there. I ran through the houses without a clear direction to confuse Hawkins.

Any unfortunate enemies were knocked out too since I unknowingly lost control of my Conquerer's Haki in panic. Soon, I managed to escape with Law on my back into a forest before collapsing from his weight when I came to a stop. Hawkins earlier in his pursuit of us, told us that such small things could easily be crafted here. That wasn't good new. Law got off of me and I sat up after wiping my bloody nose. Quickly, I yanked out the bullet and Law quickly got us further away. Law muttered about his crew and I agreed.

"What happened back there (M/N)?"

"What do you mean?"

"The sudden lightning that surrounded you when we passed by Kaido in the sky. It looked like shockwaves."
