Jessica does not like that Morgan and I have matching clothes that we bought in a little 'Majic' shop, not far from the French Quarter. She does not care that we have them, only that she does not have one too. We are going to fix that now.

Another person is not happy about the matching clothes issue. That would be the young man that ran the shop, and he is not happy to see 'Saint Sagis' and her pet making a return visit to his establishment. Last time we were here, he felt a little threatened for some reason. Maybe the way Morgan hauled him over his counter to convince him to steer clear of the Voodoo sisters.

The five of us are about all the little place can hold. It looks about the same as before. It is jammed with every kind of artifact of the magic community, and it shows acceptance of a broad variety of the magic community. All the various arcana of witches and the typical melange of earth signs, posters, various stones set in different things. Religions across the globe are represented too. All the catholic Saints. Various Bible translations. Buddhist. Moslem. Jain. Druid. On and on.

I never understood how the clothing on sale here has anything to do with Magic, but it fit the cross-cultural ethos well.

"Hi there. Remember me?" Morgan asked.

"Shit! I did what you said. I have not been near those ladies!" came a nearly panicked reply.

"Oh. I know. I am merely out here on another mission for the Goddess, and my new pet Vampire wanted a shirt like ours." Morgan indicated Jessica. "You have anything in her size?"

Jessica gave him a fangy smile.

"Oh...shit." He quavered.

He scrambled around the counter and raced to the display, and started sorting, and looking at her to visually take her measurements. I guess he felt speed is being called for. Either that or wanted to get on this side under his own power.

"This. This. This maybe..." He pointed out various garments.

"Relax, honey. She isn't going to hurt you." Angel assured him.

"Are you a Vampire?" he asked, in fear of the answer.

"No, honey. I'm an Angel." Angel said, telling the literal truth. "I work with the Saint on things. You know."

"Oh?" he seemed to not expect yet another type of being in his place. He looked over at Vera obviously wondering what she is.

"I'm a Succubus. My day off. Don't worry. I won't sex you to death or anything." Vera told him in a semi-reassuring way.

Despite her worry about it, she can go with the improvisational flow. I gave her a secret smile which Vera returned with a wink.

"You only have to worry when a Succubus is naked." Angel said confidentially. "But then, you really have to worry. She'll suck the life force right out of you."

"It's my day OFF!" Vera said. "Staying dressed. Besides: At least they die happy. Not like Vampires."

It seems everyone in my family loves to play a role.

Vera pulled out a Dansiki and held it to her chest. "Would this fit me?"

"I think so..." The young man said and offered to hold it to her back to measure the shoulders.

"Did you pack yours?" Saint Sagis asked me.

"Of course." I replied.

"OK. Wanted to be sure. I usually need to check your luggage." She said with a shake.

"You do not. I have not put any ladies in there for years." I denied.

"That is not where you carry ladies." Morgan reprimanded.

"I KNOW. You said. I haven't." I complained.

"I never had to tell her that." Morgan teased.

"Yes, well, she's new. You don't know what she packed before being assigned to you, now do you?" I pointed out.

"True enough." Morgan allowed.

Jessica held up a very colorful one... Not that all of them are not, and said "This one."

Vera held up two different garments to Angel's back and checked shoulders the way the young man had done to her.

The young man calmed down after a while when he realized he was not in trouble. That his stores array of hypernatural creatures are here to shop.

We paid full price and left with three new Dansiki and a thick book about the history of covens that Morgan wanted. Morgan reminded him on the way out, "Good work. Keep your nose clean. The Goddess smiles upon you. Love these. Have a marvelous day!"

"Any time!" he called to her, then muttered, "An Angel. A Succubus. A Saint. Two Vampires. Holy. Shit. I don't even have any books in here about Succubii! I need to fix that..."

Morgan grinned at me, since we could both hear it.
