Correct, As Usual, Scary Liaison

I opened the door to admit Ginger and Wyatt Baker, Senior Sirens. My title for them, although it as on my list to see if there is a better title. Behind them, somewhat unexpectedly, stood a pensive Vera.

"Hi, you all. Good to see you. Please come in." I acted as if Vera is completely expected. It made sense, in a way. Vera, Angel, and Morgan were a team when we hunted the HPA the first time, and Vera, Morgan, and Jessica are friends now.

Helen still does not like Vera, but Helen is not here.

There was a crowd waiting inside my house, and I Introduced them all. "Everyone, these are our new friends Ginger and Wyatt. One at a time from right to left. First up: Danny and Lori. They live in the house behind this one. They are the humans with me when Arnold and his buddies came here. Enough said about that!"

Lori came forward first and shook. "Nice to meet you. That was a horrible experience, but it introduced us to what was really going on here, Adrian healed, and so I am glad to meet you."

Wyatt commented, "Please do not take this the wrong way, but I am somewhat amazed that they did not sing to you. For obvious reasons relating to young Sirens and human female possible fertility."

"Yes, well, they talked about it, but they were focused on Adrian." Danny said, aggrieved. Rightfully so. "They thought introducing Sirens to Vampires was the mission. The dudes were kinda nervous, and if I understand that now, it is because they were acting without authority? They skedaddled before they could take her. They mauled her breasts, but good. No song. Just assault."

"I am sorry." Wyatt apologized. "I am very glad they did not go further. That was already too far. You are correct, they were there without Assembly knowledge or permission."

Jessica spoke up from where she is at the end of the line, holding Rachel Helena. "If they had, we would not be here today."

"Before we go on, I hope you like Cabernet? I brought this?" Ginger offered the bottle to Lori.

"Oh. Yes. We have wine drinkers here." Lori said.

Vera handed me a bottle of Macallan. "I know you like this."

I took it, and then I took advantage of Helen's absence and kissed her "Thank you, Vera. You know me well."

I have a point to make with that kiss for Ginger and Wyatt. Vera is OURS.

I also wanted to kiss her. I am friendly that way. I hoped to open up a path for Angel. Kissing Vera is OK tonight!

"Yeah. You, Jessica, and Morgan." Vera smiled in response to the kiss. I have not done that in a long time.

Lori took the new bottle and headed to put them both away for later.

"So, next up are my parents. Ben and Sally Sagan. Human's."

"Oh! You must be so proud of your boy! He has done so much for everyone! Human, Siren, and Vampire. We are at peace because of him, and we could not be happier to be able to get to know him now!" Ginger told them.

Mom admitted that: "Yes. We are extremely proud of him. We always knew he is special, but he exceeded everything we could have ever hoped."

"Next, you have met my wife Morgan, and she is holding our daughter Diana."

"Hello again." Morgan greeted "Welcome to our home."

"Good to be here, thank you." Ginger answered. She then grinned at Diana. "Aren't you a delight!"

"Hi, Ginger. Welcome to our house." Diana parroted.

"Oh, my! Thank you, my dear. You are very sweet."
