Jungkook is still holding onto your hand as he leads you to a part of the club you had never been before, and out of what you assume is the back door. The cool air of the night hits you in the face as you leave the building. He turns to you,"are you ok? what the hell happened back there?" he repeats the question he asked you before.

The emotions hit you like a tonne of bricks all at once and you begin bawling your eyes out. You cover your face with your hands as you weep. Your legs give way but Jungkook manages to catch you before you hit the ground. He wraps his arms around you, holding you in a warm embrace. You're buried in his hard chest, letting out what feels like litres of tears. He leans his chin on top of your head, letting you cry. Your breathing erratic, making you almost hyperventilate. You can feel your warm tears falling down your cheeks and some of them soaking into his shirt.

You stay like that for a good minute as you try to regain some normal breathing. You slowly pull away, your cheeks stained with tears and smudged makeup. Jungkook puts his large, warm hand around your cold one. "Are you ok?" Jungkook asks you again, looking directly into your eyes. You take a deep breath in and reluctantly look down at the ground. Your stomach churns. You feel like you might vomit. "Not really," you whimper, "how did you find me?"

"I thought I saw you." Jungkook says. "I saw you, with that - thing. I just had a feeling something wasn't right. It didn't look right. I saw him being rough with you and when I realised what was happening..." He stops. You look down, admiring your hand in his. "Do you want me to take you home?" Jungkook says, his voice soft, such a contrast to his voice minutes ago. You look up at him and nod, "please."

He leads you around the building to the front of the club, where there is the same black car waiting for you both. Jungkook opens the door for you and you climb inside, having to finally let go of his hand. He walks around the drivers side and hops in. "Where do you live, Y/N?" Jungkook asks you. You say your address without hesitation and he types it into his phone, pulling up the GPS app. Something inside of you trusts him.

The drive to your home is quiet. You are just replaying the events of the night over and over in your head. You never thought this would happen to you, you were so unprepared. You realise you should call Lana, she was probably worried if the others had found her and told her that she had to leave. You dial her number and she answers immediately. "Y/N? What happened are you ok?"

"I'm with Jungkook, I'm going home but I will tell you everything later. I promise. Are you ok? Did the boys find you?"

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm in the car with Tae and Hoseok right now, they're taking me home."

You feel relief after learning that Lana is ok and safe.

"Ok great. I love you, text me when you get inside ok?"

"I will. I love you too, goodnight."

You end the call and let out a breath you didn't realise you were holding.

"She sounds like a good friend to you." Jungkook breaks the silence. "Yeah, she's, everything to me." you say. It was true. You didn't know what you would do if you didn't have her.

You finally pull up outside your apartment, Jungkook turns the engine off. You stare up at your apartment building and become aware of the fact that you will have to be all alone in your home. The pure thought of it made your heart race. He looks over at you and can see the fear in your eyes. You take a deep, shaky breath in and out. "Jungkook," you say, your voice shaking. "I'm frightened." Jungkook unbuckles his seatbelt and turns to fully face you, his face soft and understanding. "I don't want to be alone in there. Can you come up with me? Please?" You feel pathetic but honestly you didn't care how you sounded right now.

Jungkook stares into your eyes, "I won't let anyone hurt you."

"Thank you" you say weakly. You feel like crying again but fight back, you've cried enough tonight. You and Jungkook exit the car and you lead him up the way to your apartment. You unlock your front door and walk inside, immediately turning the lights on, with Jungkook following closely behind you. He shuts the door locks it. You sigh, "well, this is my house"

It is a small apartment, but it is the perfect size for you. It isn't an old apartment but it isn't brand new either. You see that your apartment is a mess as you didn't bother tidying up before you left. "Sorry, it's such a mess in here," you chuckle nervously and quickly grab the alcohol bottles that are lying around on the kitchen counter, storing them away. Jungkook chuckles lowly "it's ok, don't worry about it." You both stand there awkwardly, not knowing what to do next. "If you're not comfortable having me here, I can leave-"

"No! No, please. Don't leave." You beg, sounding ridiculous but you didn't care. No way in hell were you staying here by yourself. Jungkook nods, slightly "I'll stay. As long as you need."

"Thank you. Please, sit down, make yourself comfortable." You gesture to your couch. Jungkook makes his way over, plopping himself down on the cushiony surface. "Um, can I get you something to drink?" You ask, fiddling around with your hands awkwardly.

"no thanks, I'm ok." Jungkook lifts up one of his arms, resting it on top of the couch.

You stand there looking at each other for a moment. You admire him, his hair pushed back off his face so that his forehead is exposed, his eyes piercing. "I'm going to shower." You break the silence. "Just help yourself to anything, turn the TV on if you like," you say as you make your way to the ensuite bathroom. "Sure," Jungkook replies to you as you disappear out of the room.
