Chapter 57: Confusion and Surprise

Jaune: "WEISS!"

As Y/N and Loke fly into the sky above the school, Jaune grabs his sword and runs to her side with everyone else watching either them or Y/N. The ground rumbles beneath them as the two Sacred Gear users face each other down, their and their partners' Auras surrounding their bodies; green and black from Y/N's and purple and gold mixed with black from Loke. Their bodies start changing, growing into the creatures that lie within them. When it seems their transformations are complete, almost everything goes silent.

Y/N/Loke&Regulus: "JUGGERNAUT DRIVE/BREAKDOWN THE BEAST, CLIMB OVER!" they say in unison.

Taking advantage of the confusion, Oscar hits Leo across the face with his cane hard. Leo tumbles down the stairs and is met with Hazel, who until now, has been mostly watching the battles from a distance, not wanting to hurt anyone.

Oscar and Nora go over to Ruby, who's still unconscious from both using her eyes and being knocked out by Emerald. They kneel at her side, shaking her.

Oscar: "Ruby, get up! Get up! We need you!" he desperately tries to get her to awaken.

As they're trying, Leo recovers from hitting Hazel, who picks him up by his collar. Hazel brings him up to his face, only using one arm to do so.

Hazel: "You're lettin' that boy make a fool of you." he bluntly states.

Leo: "That's not just a boy!" he panics. "It's Ozpin. He's already reincarnated!"

Hazel drops Leo at his feet and looks at Oscar, whom he now knows is Ozpin's latest incarnation. Seeing Ozpin's cane in Oscar's hand, he believes it.

Hazel: "Ozpin?" he says slightly agitated.

His breathing gets heavier, his eyes grow wider, and his normal neutral expression is replaced with one of great rage.

Ruby starts to wake up, albeit slowly. She's still out of it, confused.

Oscar: "Ruby, you-"

Hazel: "OZPIN!"

Ozpin (mentally): 'Oh no.'

Hazel: "You thought you could hide from me!?" He starts ripping off his outer jacket then grabbing two electric Dust crystals from his pockets. "You'll pay for what you did, you'll die over and over again!" He injects the crystals directly into his body, the Dust coursing through his veins. "YAAAARRRGGGHH!"

Oscar gets in his battle stance to try and defend himself from the giant crazed man who has every intention to kill him.

Oscar: "Do- Do we fight?" he asks Ozpin.

Ozpin (mentally): 'N-No, run!"

Hazel charges at Oscar, but Qrow pushes him out of the way just in time, transforming Harbinger into its scythe form to help Oscar.

With Cinder

Cinder: "Ozpin is here!?" she says surprised and annoyed.

Raven: "Is that a problem?"

Cinder: "I'm not sure, but right now we've got the upper hand. Let's not waste it. Leo! Open the path to the vault!" Leo gets up and does what he's told. "Lapis! Get down here!"

From the broken ceiling, Lapis looks into the giant foyer.

Lapis: "I've done my part here. The only one who can order me now is Loke. Take care of it yourself, I'm not missing this!"

Far above in the sky, inside the clouds, flashes of green and purple light appear as Loke and Y/N must be battling. Accompanying each clash, a shockwave occurs, shaking the school slightly.
