The two of you stayed out on the beach cuddling for awhile until the sun started to set. Then Peter got up, sighing. "I wish we could stay here and watch the sunset, but...we can't." You stood up as well, and stretched as he waved his hand over the picnic and it disappeared.

"Not going to make me wash the dishes, eh?" you said with a smile, until his face reminded you of what was going to happen this evening.

He grabbed your hand rather roughly and the two of you teleported back to the camp, startling some of the lost boys who were hurrying around getting stuff ready. There was a deer roasting on a spit over a large fire in the center of the camp, as well as some rabbits and birds on smaller spits. Their aroma filled the camp, making your mouth water. Other lost boys were mixing berries in a large bowl or getting out plates and cups. A couple boys were even sweeping the camp for debris.

You looked at Peter, hoping he would have a task for you. He simply turned to you and said, "Wear your biggest cloak tonight. It will be pretty chilly, and you'll want the hood to cover your face."

What the heck! you thought. A hood isn't going to keep my face warm. Oh, right. The second half of tonight. My face will need to be covered so the Dark One won't see it and he didn't want the lost boys to hear about it. Well, Pan gave me a task.

You walked out of the camp, before racing through the woods to your treehouse. You closed your eyes, letting your feet run free on the well-known trail. You knew every intruding root and patch of dreamshade so well you didn't even need to see where you were going. You scrambled up the rope ladder into your treehouse, looking around with pride at the decorations you had chosen before heading to your closet and getting out your large brown cloak. You put it on and the fabric settled around you, making you feel like you were home.

You quickly returned to the camp and they were just taking the meat off the fire to let it cool so it could be cut. You sat on a log watching. You would have offered to help, but it looked like everything was done except for cutting and serving the meat. They had enough boys to do that and your cloak would get in the way.

Peter was in the center of the camp, hands on Henry's shoulders, an earnest expression on his face. He was saying something, but you were too far away to make out the words. It seemed to be a private conversation, and it likely, no definitely had to deal with tonight.

Dinner was served and everyone was actually forced to wait until everyone was served before they began eating. Not that they minded, well, not that they minded that much. The food was very tempting, but the reason for the feast was enough of a reason to make them wait patiently.

Peter stood in the center of the group along with Henry. Everyone (all the lost boys, Snow, and you) held their plates and cups and encircled the two. Peter had his arm around Henry's shoulder and he started a speech, although you knew it wouldn't be a long one, as the lost boys would never be able to wait.

He cleared his throat, unnecessarily, as all eyes were fixated on him. "Tonight is a momentous occasion. Tonight is the night where Henry proves that he is a hero. The night Henry saves us all, and not only us, but Neverland and all magic everywhere. Tonight is all about Henry, our Savior." Peter lifted his cup high. "To Henry."

"To Henry," you echoed along with Snow and the lost boys. You gulped down your drink, water fresh from the spring at the heart of Neverland. It was chosen for tonight as this was the night Henry would save the island. Then you threw your head back and let out your signature cry, the cry of an eagle. You chose it because it symbolized the freedom you spent so long searching for, the freedom you had finally found here in Neverland. Everyone joined in, echoing your cry with their own animal cries.

After that the group dispersed, finding seats on the logs around the camp and digging into their food. You were no different. The aroma of the food had filled the camp, leaving you starving and eager to eat while it was still warm. Snow sat beside you, her eyes filled with tears. You gave her a small, sad smile. She was so soft-hearted she couldn't bear the thought of anyone getting hurt in any way. But it was the only way to save Neverland and because of that you had made sure not to get too close to Henry. Snow didn't, because she saw that some of the lost boys and you were doing so to protect yourselves and she felt bad for Henry because of it. You gave her a hug, and then continued eating in silence.

You ate a lot of food, even getting fourths because it was so delicious and you were nervous about what was going to happen. You had no real idea what was going to happen and the food helped calm your nerves.

After everyone was done eating, Peter got out his pipes. "I'd like to play a song, a song for our guest of honor, Henry." He started playing on his pipes, and the sound sent shivers down your spine. It was the good kind of shivers, the kind that brought a smile to your face and told you that you were home. A smile broke across your face and you closed your eyes to drink in the music. You pulled out your sticks, two sticks that you had carefully carved so that when they were hit together they would make a beautiful noise. You started jumping and laughing around the fire with the lost boys, letting your eagle's screech float high into the sky.

You danced for a couple hours and then it was time. The moon shone brightly, its rays even making their way into the camp. There was a full moon tonight. You ran through the jungle, an undeclared race taking place between everyone, the whoops of the boys telling where they were. As soon as you arrived on the shore, you got into a canoe that you made yourself. Snow got in with you and you paddled to Skull Rock. Peter and Henry were already there in front of the hourglass, which counted down the time that was left until Neverland would be no more. There wasn't much sand, or much time, left. The lost boys quickly gathered around.

Peter stood across from Henry. "Now, are you ready?"

"Yes," Henry nodded, a determined look on his face.

"Let me help you." He reached out and grabbed Henry's arm, lifting it till it was parallel to the floor, palm up. He waved his other hand over Henry's and a dark golden light shone on Henry's hand. Henry looked up at Peter and then down at his hand before reaching into his chest. He grimaced, showing how painful it actually was, showing how much he was going through to save all of you. He pulled out his heart. It was red, shining with a dark golden color.

You started a cheer, everyone else soon joining in. "Henry! Henry! Henry!"

Tears poured down Snow's cheeks and she ran forward, pulling Henry into a tight hug. "I love you!" she said and she was about to give him a kiss on the forehead before Peter said, "We're running out of time." She nodded and gave Henry a slight smile before taking her place next to you again.

"I love you, too," Henry told her. "Which is why I have to save you, all of you." He pushed his heart into Peter Pan's chest, a green force coming out from his which knocked everyone except Peter to the ground.

As soon as she recovered, Snow ran over to him, cradling him in her arms, crying even harder now. Peter was right beside Henry, looking down at him sadly. He let out a shaky breath before standing and turning towards you. He took your hand and said softly, "It's time." You nodded and the two of you lifted high into the sky, leaving behind Henry and everyone he had saved gathered around him, leaving to do the second part of the saving that must be done on this dark night.

A/N: First, I'm really sorry it took me so long to get this out. I've had a lot going on and other excuses you don't care to hear.

Second, I think I've decided on an updating schedule. I'm planning on updating Sundays and Tuesdays, although if I have something come up on one of those days, I will move it. I am going to update twice a week.

Third, I'm going to be updating my profile, just a heads up. And by update, I mean pretty much totally remodeling it.
