FIRST STEP

Shnaya had overheard most of the conversation but she decided not to react to it .

"Vikram dear breakfast is served "

"Maya di what are you doing in our bedroom?"she asked.

"Shnaya dear you hadn't come for breakfast so I was worried for you . Moreover since I am here for a short period I want to spend some time with you just like old days . "saying this she sat with both of them.

Shnaya wanted Maya to leave them alone. Vikram had come back after so many days. This was their time and Maya had intruded but Maya being Maya poured herself a cup of tea and sat with them.

Maya had spoiled their morning. Vikram had wanted to sit with Shnaya discuss his trip and then leave for the palace office. however he decided to leave straight away.

"Bye Shnaya . Will be back as soon as possible "saying he kissed Shnaya on the cheek and left.

"Vikram if not a kiss don/t I deserve a hug at least.'remarked Maya shemelessly.

Vikram left without a backward glance.

Maya realised that Vikram and Shnaya were pretty close. She just couldn,t understand how Shnaya who was not even as pretty as her could ensnare Vikram.She just would hve to work harder at catching his attention. After all she was Maya and was irresistible so Vikram would eventually realise what he had lost and would come after her.

While Maya was deep in her thoughts Shnaya was fuming inside,'Di you shouldn't have come early in the morning. Vikram had come after so many days and he wanted to sit and spend time with me. now he has left because of you."

Maya started to cry . She was pretending as usual.,"Shnaya dear I had no intention to intrude on you. It,s just that I know no one in this palace. It,s only you who feels for me. I was lonely and wanted to be with you.If I had known this would affect your marriage I wouldn't have come. I will leave right now. I will leave Rajgarh and go to some friends place .I promise never to bother you again,'crying she ran towards the door.

Now Shnaya felt guilty. After all Maya was her sister and God knows what she had been through.

"Sorry di It was selfish of me to say so. Its just that things have just improved between Vikram and me and there is still a long way to go. Hence I am insecure. You know the circumstances of our marriage and also that I was never his first choice so I tend to be extra careful."

So there were cracks in her marriage .Maya smiled inwardly. She had found her sisters weak point. Now she would focus on it and soon Vikram would be free of this bitch. Vikram belonged to Maya. He should have waited for her instead of marrying this plain Jane. Now she would play on her sisters insecurities and destroy her farce of a marriage.

"Shnaya you are too naive. I will teach you how to keep Vikram in your hand. I am your elder sister and I promise to make your marriage strong. By the time I leave you Vikram will be where he belongs."

"Maya di I love you. I thought you would be angry with me for marrying Vikram but you are here to help. You can stay for as long as you like. Infact I will shift you to the nearest guest wing so that you can come anytime you want"

First step accomplished. Indefinite Stay . Maya had just taken a day to accomplish this

Second step would be To create differences . She would use Chachi's help in that.
