THE ROYAL AFFAIR

AJAY

It had barely been a month since her father had left that Ajay called to inform her that he was coming to London as he had a series of meetings with potential buyers in Paris and Rome . He would be meeting his buyers first and from Paris would come to London where he was to meet an American buyer . He would then stay for a few days with his little sister .

Somehow Shnaya was doubtful that buyers was the pnly reason for Ajay to come to London but then he was her brother so she knew he too had been worried for her .Moreover she knew her father . He must have asked Ajay to go and check on her. .

Well in any case he was welcome because it had been a lonely month after her father left .

Ajay was a foodie so Shnaya stocked up her supplies for him .She was at college when he arrived. Infact he reached her college to pick her up .

She was with Monica when he came ,"Hey Shnaya who is that hottie waving at you . Wow you are so lucky lady ?" She teased .

"Shut up Monica , its my elder brother Ajay . Though I know he is a handsome young man and still a bachelor ? Interested Monica dear . "She teased Monica .

Monica blushed and Shnaya introduced her ,"Bhaiya

This is my friend Monica and Monica this is my bhaiya Ajay "

Sanjay joined them five minutes later and she invited them both for dinner at her place at night .

Dinner was pleasant with jokes and good conversation flowed with white wine and starters .

Ajay liked Monica and Sanjay . Initially he was not to happy to meet Sanjay because he thought Sanjay had designs in his sister but he relaxed when he could see that they were just friends . Infact he realised that it was because of them Shnaya was comfortable in her new life .

But he was still worried about her future . He didn't know what had transpired between his sister and Vikram but he was worried . However he trusted both Shnaya and Vikram to solve their problem . In the meantime let Shnaya enjoy what she had missed because of her unexpected abrupt marriage - her college life and her freedom .

The next two days he spent preparing for the exhibition since only six weeks were left .

His buyer from America arrived on Saturday evening . Since Shnaya was free she would accompany him to meet the buyer who was staying at The Le meridien Picadilly . Ajay had booked dinner in the hotel restaurant so that his buyer wouldn't have to travel to meet him .

It had been quite long since Shnaya had gone to any formal dinner . Ajay had hinted that this buyer might even become their investor because he was recently venturing into jewellary business and Ajay had plans of opening branches of Verma Jewels worldwide .

So Shnaya dressed carefully to make a good impression . She wore a long blue halter neck gown which had a fitted bodice but the skirt was long and fell in layers .

She wore the peacock earrings which had been gifted by Vikram. That was the only jewellary from Vikrams collection she had taken because she couldn't bear to part with them .

Monica had come over with Sanjay to do her makeup as Monica was an expert with makeup .

She applied light foundation to Shnaya's face then highlighted her cheeks , applied a shimmery blue eyeshadow and red lipstick . She untied Shnaya's long hair and curled it at the ends .

When she looked at Shnaya she squealed with delight ,"Darling you are killing it tonight . If I was into women I would have taken you straight to bed "

Shnaya blushed at her comment.

Not one to be left behind Sanjay whistled ," Shnaya I think I may have fallen in love with you tonight ."

When Ajay scowled he said ," Just joking man . But really Shnaya you are looking very pretty tonight "

Ajay smiled at both of them ," You know what you both are the best friends my sister could get . I love you both "saying this Ajay hugged both Sanjay and Monica .

When they reached Le meridien they were taken to their table . Their guest was yet to arrive .

They each ordered a glass of wine . Just then they saw a handsome young men coming to their table .

When Ajay pointed towards him Shnaya recognised him and her face paled .
