DELAY

Maya now just had to give a final blow and then the marriage would be over . She already had formulated a plan in her mind but she needed help and she knew who would help her . So in the next two days if everything went according to her plan Shnaya would be out of Vikram's life forever .

In the meantime she would keep on poisoning Shnaya's mind and breaking her up .

The next day however was a big blow to her plan because something unpredictable happened .

The Maharaj had been ill for the past few days but now his condition worsened.He was immediately hospitalised. The Maharani was very upset and Shnaya forgot everything and spent all the time either at the hospital or with the Maharani .

The Maharani had always considered Shnaya to be her daughter and not daughter in law and these few days proved that Shnaya was truly their daughter . She would not only spend the entire day at the hospital but would personally get food prepared for the Maharani and then would feed her herself . She would then bring her home at night and again next morning Shnaya would be ready before everyone to go to the hospital.

However after two days the doctors at the hospital advised that Maharaj needed surgery and it would be advisable to take him to a bigger city like Delhi or Mumbai .

The Maharani finalised Delhi and within the next few hours the Royal Jet landed in Delhi . The Maharani, Shnaya and the chacha and Chachi along with their staff were to stay in a bungalow owned by the RoyalFamily in Delhi .

The Maharaj was admitted at Apollo Hospital Delhi . He was weak so doctor advised that this week they would perform some more tests and increase his strength and by early next week the surgery would be performed .

It was decided that Shnaya would go back by Friday so that when Vikram came on Saturday they would come together on Sunday . Till then Chachi and chachi would stay with the Maharani .

Vikram was not to be informed before Saturday .

The next few days were very stressful. Maharani would not leave the hospital and would not even eat properly . Shnaya was always taking care of her . Shnaya loved both the Maharaj and Maharani dearly as her Parents so she too was worried . She personally spoke to the doctors everyday . They assured her that after the surgery Maharaj would be perfectly alright and after rest for a month or so he would be able to perform his duties as well .

Shnaya was to go to Rajgarh on Friday morning but she left in the evening because her parents arrived .

Shnaya,s father and stepmom also arrived to meet the Maharaj in Delhi . When Shnaya was alone with her father she tried to tell him that Maya was staying with her but her stepmom intervened and stopped her from saying anything .

Shnaya reached the palace late at night and went straight to bed In her bedroom . The next morning she packed some stuff and Vikram's also since Vikram might want to leave right away . She also packed some things which Maharani had requested .

Vikram arrived close to tea time . He was still in a foul mood because he could see that Shnaya had been staying in her room rather than in their room .

When Shnaya entered the bedroom he barked at her ," What is your problem Shnaya ? Can't you decide which room is yours ?Why are you sleeping in the other room ? Are you trying to make me feel guilty when I am not the one flirting with other men ?"

"Vikram please shut up . At present we have other serious matters to discuss ?"

"So their are other matters serious than this bloody marriage ?"

"Vikram , Maharaj is not well "

"If he is not well that what the hell are we doing here ? You take rest but I am going yo the hospital "

"Can you even listen to me for a minute . He is in Delhi . We are leaving tomorrow early morning ?"Shnaya told Vikram.

"Tomorrow the hell . We are leaving in fifteen minutes . You can stay but I am leaving ."Vikram announced .

"Of course I am leaving with you . I have packed our bags and the royal jet is ready to take off . We leave in ten minutes " saying this Shnaya left to change .

Maya knocked at their bedroom door ," Vikram how is your father ? I wanted to go to Delhi but everyone can not run off like Shnaya . Someone has to be mature to decide and has to remain here also to look after the palace hence I stayed "saying this she sat on the couch in the room .

Vikram was too preoccupied to even notice her .

She then moved closer to Vikram who seemed to be distraught with worry and hugged him pretending to comfort him ,"Don't worry darling he will get well soon . I am there for you if you need anything "She emphasised on the word anything .

Shnaya entered their room to find them hugging each other but Maya being Maya was totally unashamed ,"Shnaya  Vikram is so worried and you are too busy so I decided to comfort him . After all we are so closely related to each other and it is my duty to help you as much as I can "

Shnaya wanted to pull her away from Vikram but then who was she to do it . Vikram should have pushed her away but then maybe he did want to be close to Maya and maybe he did love Maya after all .
