THE PHONE CALLS

Shnaya's exams had gone very good and she knew she would score good.On the last day of their exam Shnaya had gone out with the entire class for dinner and dancing .

When she reached home close to midnight she found two bouquet one of red roses from Vikram and one of white lilies from Eric.

She had just sent thanks to Vikram and Eric when Vikram called her, " Hi Shnaya. Why did you send me thanks ? I am your husband and you need not thank me for anything . By the way how where your exams?"

"They went well"

"So then when are you planning to return ?"

"Vikram I asked for a year . I have almost a month left. I will come after that"

"But Shnaya when your course is finished can't you come early ? "

"I am going to spend time visiting London and its nearby cities "

"Everyone misses you here ."

"What about you Vikram. Do you miss me ?"

"Darling I miss you specially in my bed . But I take comfort in the fact that you are mine and you have to eventually come back to me . Didn't you receive the note I left ?"

"Yes I received it Vikram but I am not your possession to stake claim upon"

"I always stake claim on my things. You belong to me and the moment I feel my hold weaken you will be brought back to Rajgarh . I will make sure of that "

Vikram I am getting another call . Can I talk later ?"

"Who is calling you so late at night ? It must be midnight in London?"

""He is not known to you "Shnaya lied ti him.

"Its Eric ,isn't it ?"Vikram was angry.

Shnaya knew it was useless to lie to him so she said."Yes. He must be calling because I sent him thanks for the flowers"

"But I sent you the roses "

"Eric also sent me white lilies. Vikram I promise we will talk later ",saying this she kept his phone not berfore he had the last word,"Shnaya you have to tell Eric that you belong to me and I will not let you go so of he is thinking of any relationship with you he must back off . Otherwise I will make sure that he can never ever in his life see you "

His last words were spoken in a threatening tone . Shnaya shivered while listen to him . It was a very dark side of Vikram and it scared her .

She knew he was capable of carrying out his threat and she liked Eric too much to put him through this trouble.

Shnaya called Eric,"Hi Eric "

"Hi Shnaya . Did you like the flowers ?"

"Yes they were lovely"

"But not as lovely as you . How did the exams go "

"They went well "

"So now you can join the USA branches as head jewellery designer "

"Eric I cant . It's almost a year and I have to go back to Rajgarh as promised to Vikram "

"We will talk about that later . Shnaya I am coming on Friday morning to meet you . I have a surprise for you so please don't plan anything for the weekend .Take care and good night "

Shnaya had spoken to two handsome billionares one her husband who was so arrogant and treated her as a possession while the other her friend who treated her well but was upto God knows what .
