VIKRAM'S NEWS

It had been slow but pleasant three months . Gradually Vikram was overcoming his grief . Even the Maharani had started taking interest in her kingdom and her charities .

Life was gradually returning to normal . Vikram and Shnaya had become as close as possible . Even though they had never told each other that they were in love but Shnaya was sure that Vikram had very strong feelings for her .

The days were busy but almost everyday they took dinner together sometimes with the family and sometimes alone .

However the nights were as passionate as possible . There was no single night that they hadn't made love .

Vikram was a very physical person and he loved touching his wife . Slowly she had turned from a shy virgin to a seductress . He loved the feel of her body against his .He loved her magnificent breasts , her long lustrous hair , her luscious body and her swollen lips . Shnaya was late . She hadnt realised but she was late by at least by ten days .

She had problems before marriage but After getting married she was always on time normally exactly on the same date .

Recently she had not been feeing well . Infact she had had bouts of nausea but she had put it down to indigestion.But was it simply indigestion or something else ?

She needed to check .

She arranged for some tests .

After an hour she was sure . She had taken three tests and all had come positive.

She was not sure how Vikram would react but she herself was very happy .

Vikram had already left for work so she would surprise him in the evening with her news .

She left for the NGO as She had lots of work planned for today . She decided she would work till the afternoon and then come back to the palace . After that she would plan a lovely candlelight dinner near their private pool and she would then reveal to Vikram .

She had been working merrily when Eric called.

" Hi Eric , how are you ?"she said cheerfully.

"Shnaya you look very cheerful today ? It's nice to hear you so happy even though I know that I am not the reason for your happiness . So tell me what is going on in your life ?"

"Oh Eric life is fine and I am so so happy today . I am ecstatic . I think I am pregnant . "she blurted .

"Congratulations dear . You deserve to be happy " Eric said in a subdued voice .

He knew that after this new development he had lost Shnaya permanently . If Vikram had refused to let her go before when she was only married to him then now after she was pregnant with his child he would never let her leave . But if Shnaya was happy then he was happy for her . His love was not shallow and Shnaya's happiness was foremost in his heart .

"Have you told Vikram yet ?"Eric asked her .

"Not yet . Actually I just found out a few hours ago . But I plan on telling him tonight

And I am sure Vikram will be very happy too"

"I am happy for you Shnaya . But are you sure Vikram will be happy ?"

"Eric I love him and his actions show he cares but yes he has never said he loves me . He desires me but love I don't know . However I do love him and I do love this baby because it is a part of him .I am hopeful of our marriage now as Vikram threw Maya out and he has been very caring and attentive towards me . I just hope this baby further cements our bond "

" I just want you to be happy dear . I love you , you know that but I also accept that you love Vikram and if your happiness lies with him I am all for it . I just hope this news doesn't create further problems in your marriage "Eric said .

"Eric I believe love can overcome anything . If we love each other we can face anything together and I believe God will help us in achieving our love . I am willing to do anything for my love "Shnaya told him .

Just then Vikram entered and he seemed to be furious . He must have heard her last sentence .

"Ok bye Eric "Shnaya kept the phone abruptly.

"So that lover boy still calls you darling "he remarked furiously .

"Yes Vikram Eric still calls me . He cares for me and calls as a friend . Vikram he is a good friend of mine "

"Friend my foot . He loves you . I have seen it in his eyes , the way he looks at you as if he could ravish you "

"Vikram are you jealous ?"Shnaya was surprised .

"No way . Why would I feel jealous ?You are married to me so he cannot have you "

"What are you doing here Vikram ?"

"I came to meet my wife . Or are you so busy with your lover that you need privacy to pour your heart out to him "

"What are friends for then ? Vikram I trust Eric . He was very good to me in London . While you never bothered to contact me he was there whenever I needed him . Vikram I trust him and even though he cares he has never crossed any limits? "

"Do you think I am a fool ? I don't believe that because any hot blooded virile male could never resist a beauty like you "Vikram shouted at her .

"Not everyone wants sex . Some value friendship more "Shnaya shouted back .

"Believe me Shnaya Eric has quite a reputation as a ladies man . He believes on loving and leaving . "Vikram replied.

" I know of someone else who had the same reputation before his marriage?"Shnaya told him .

"How dare you speak like this . I never hid anything from you . So you have no tight to taunt me like this ?"Vikram said .

" I am sorry but I just wanted to say that if changed then why can't he ?And But he has always behaved as a perfect gentleman with me "

"Now why don't I believe a word of what you are saying ?"Again Vikram shouted at her .

"Vikram please leave this topic . This is neither the place nor the time to discuss this matter . Moreover I am very happy today so I don't want to argue with you . I will speak with you at dinner . I have some exciting news for you "

" Same here darling . I have some news for you as well but I don't know it will be as exciting as your news . But I won't wait to tell you. I want a divorce and as early as possible "saying this Vikram left a stunned Shnaya .
