THE ROYAL AFFAIR

SHNAYA IS UPSET

Vikram rushed back to Shnaya .She was still sitting in the same position .

"Vikram what did you do ? I was so scared that you might do something wrong which you would regret later ."

"Nothing is wrong . Maya has left for Good . She will never dist urb our life now . Now what do you want to do take rest ?"

"Vikram what about the party ? "

"To hell with the party ? The party is not important you are ?"

" But the party is in our honour . I am changing and then we will be rejoining . Just give me twenty minutes "

Shnaya quickly changed into the the other black gown , scrubbed her face clean , quickly applied a little foundation, eyeshadow and brown lipstick and brushed her hair .

"Come on lets go " Shnaya told Vikram .

Vikram felt so proud of his wife . She was a brave woman and a true queen who understood her duties so well .

After half an hour they reentered the party hand in hand looking into each others eyes and smiling .

Anyone who saw them could easily say that they were a deeply in love couple , meant for each other .

Vishal was still there hosting the party .

Vikram had gone to fetch her a drink when Vishal came and sat with Shnaya.

"Shnaya how are you feeling ? " Vishal asked.

"I am fine now "

"I was worried sick for you . I hope that Maya never enters your life . Shnaya I love you very much but your happiness is foremost in my heart . I know you love Vikram bhaiya and will always respect that . I promise you that from now onwards I will always treat you as my friend my bhabhi . I know it will be very difficult to forget you but I will try my best . and not all his lost as I will always have you as my friend ," saying this Vishal had tears in his eyes .

Shnaya felt bad for him . It wasn't his fault that he had fallen in love with her but at least he had realised that they had no future so she was ready to forgive him .

She placed her hand on his to console him and smiled ," Vishal you are family . My husbands brother and my dear friend . You will always have my support "

Vikram arrived with her drink . Shnaya quickly removed her hand . But it was too late he had seen her smile and her hand on Vishal . He didn't say a word to both of them but Shnaya could notice a change in his behaviour and his eyes showed controlled anger .

Vishal left the two .

Dinner was served and Vikram asked if she wanted something but Shnaya was in no mood to eat . She was very tired with the days events and asked him if it would be impolite to leave .

Vikram took her hand and took her straight to their room . He had already arranged for her hot bath and a lady was waiting for her . He left her in the room and went back to the party as he had to be present to see them off .

Shnaya settled in the bath and asked the lady to leave .

Today had been very stressful with the coronation, then the party and finally Maya . But at least Maya was gone from her life . Even if Vikram had a relationship with Maya in her absence , it was past and as she had mentioned to Vishal she was ready to forgive and forget . Ever since coming back she had realised that her love for Vikram had become stronger. Every one was entitled for one mistake and Maya was Vikram's mistake but Shnaya could accept that .

She was ready to move on and starting today she was going to behave properly as his wife .

Then she started remembering Maya's accusations and she started to cry . She was crying in her bath when Vikram entered .
