His crystal eyes, the way they stared deep into my soul eager to steal the only thing a women can contain within time until the precious moment was wanted.
The bastard wanted my virginity, but he couldn't take it; he tried- but he didn't.
The farthest he got, was smothering saliva on my neck, and touching me inappropriately. Makes me feel like an unwanted piece of trash.

"The Ball...Christmas...Eve." The words rolled off my tongue as I kept straying myself around the bed, kicking and eventually into little panic attacks of terror.

"Shush, it's okay." I felt a stroke on my head, pushing away my stray hairs from my eyes.

I looked up, and there she was. Hero.
Instead of the big gown she was in for the event, she was now in a baby blue gown, and no makeup was on her face. She was naturally beautiful.

"Hero?" I ask, adjusting my pillow so I could sit up to her level. She has a little novel in her lap, and the room around us is spectacular.

It's three times the size of my suite, and the bed is humongous compared to mine. The room schemes a beautiful turquoise, and the balcony is lengthy; revealing the star lit sky out side.

"Yes, Delilah?" She puts down a pair of reading glasses, and closes her book out of respect.

"Was it just a dream?"

She shakes her head unfortunately, and explains.
"Last night, Delilah...you were attacked and could've been violently raped if Willow didn't show Augustus what was happening."
I cringe, and grip the sheets at the thought.
"Your father was clueless as in what to do, so Everette picked you up and took you in here with me. My lovely maids have you a bath, and put you on a gown from your room. Everette isn't in here now, because, well he usually sleeps with me. Plus, he's with Augustus in the infirmary."

I shake my head absorbing the information. "Why is he in the infirmary?"

She kicks back her covers and walks over to the vanity and picks up a photograph.

"He's a gentlemen, Delilah. He's gentle for those who deserve it, and is rather manly for those who don't. When you was pushed to the limit earlier, it hurt him. Not worse than you of course, but it hurt him mentally. So he hurt Officer Wesley physically. He's in the infirmary getting his knuckles heels. He caused a rather bloody scene."

"Okay..." I breath. "...but did you hear what Willow was saying? She was rapping on and on about how she saw something that didn't happen."

"What do you mean?" She sets the photo in a wooden box and continues.

"It was like she was accusing me of trying to touch the guard in a sexual manner. Plus, she said she saw something. The door was locked, and I couldn't get out. How would she be able to look in?" My mouth was moving at a rapid pace, as she held up a hand to stop me, and she went and had a seat on the bed in front of me.

"Start from the beginning..."

And with that I begin.
"I was walking down the hall, away from the party. There was this bell sound in the distance, and I was curious of where it was-"

"Not trying to be rude, but why were you out of the ball? You couldn't of heard the bell from inside the grand hall."

At this the memory flashes back. The woman with the silver mask, and long black cloak. The women of mystery, and the main reason that what happened last night...happened.
"The woman..."

"What woman?" She asks, but at the memory I grow powerful.

"The woman in the black cloak! She was walking by the door, and she was eyeing me suspiciously and I was curious to what someone was doing outside the ball room! That's why I left..." And I continue mumbling about the moment.

"Delilah, there was no one in a black cloak."

"I know you must think I'm mad, but I'm not I swear! There was this woman, so I went searching for her. I couldn't find her, so I figured she had a bell attached to her or something, so I followed the bell sound! That led me to a small hall, and a dark room..." My voice begins to slow down at the mention of the attack.
"I asked if there was anyone in there, then..."

Hero jumped up, as if intrigued in the story, "then what?!"

"Then someone pushed me in...from behind."

Willows words flood back into my mind, "But what I seen was different, Prince Augustus! She was seducing him and all!" No one could've seen inside the room, unless they were there before the door was shut. Could it have been Willow? Or was she just referring to the noises she heard, but if so why was she going down that hall? She was a mystery, and I wasn't going near her until I figure out her true reason for being there last night.

"Well?"
I remember my objective, and continue.
"Well, whoever shoved me in shut and locked the door. So I was locked in the dark. I found the light, cut it on, and discovered Officer Wesley. After a minute of me arguing with him about letting me out, he uhmm..." My breathing pace quickens and the story becomes harder to tell. "...he violently shoved me up against the wall. He was trying to kiss me, and touched me in spots that didn't need to be touched." At those words, I clarified the truth out loud. He touched me. He hurt me mentally, so I could not trust anyone with such a precious thing as my virginity. Tears slowly began stroking down my face. Within seconds, I began sobbing in my hands about the situation.

"Oh, don't cry!" Says Hero, pulling me into her feminine grasp as she stroke my hair and wipes my fallen tears.

"I just..." I hiccup. "...feel so broken."

At this Hero begins to stroke my face, and I swear I feel a tear drop from her on my face, but she instantly wipes it away.

"Listen," she sits me up right and her brown eyes sink deep into my green ones. Her facial structure is strong, as the words she says next are too.
"you may be used dear, but not broken." She says the words, like she's told herself that same thing before.

"Hero?"
"Yes?" She says, letting me comfort myself on her side of the bed.
"The way you comfort me...the way you brung me to your room instead of the infirmary...you were used, weren't you?"

She leans over cutting off the lamp. Probably so I couldn't see her tears.
"Yes."

My eyes settle, and I see her silhouette digging into Everette's pillow.
"I'm here if you need me, Hero."

And with that, I feel a peck on my forehead. "Good night, Delilah."
