The memory was clear. It was Christmas Eve. The families were here, and the Christmas ball was being held. I was distracted, like a cat with it's indestructible attention on the laser dot on the wall. The girl had on a dress as big as all of the selected, with cloak that disguised her. Known as the woman in black. It was she who had locked me in a room with a man who was seconds from having a charge for rape. It had all made sense. When Gus broke me out, it was Willow who claimed I was seducing the man; in which I know is not humanly possible for me. She was trying to get me kicked out...she was trying to get me eliminated and hated by the royals.

I can't trust Hero or Aria with this information...the last time I approached Queen Hero with the matter of witnessing the disguised Willow, she thought I had to have been drinking or hallucinating.

For once, I had something that I couldn't even tell Augustus. For that, he would think of me as a rude girl just trying to pick off my competition.

Charleston...I could tell her. She'd understand.

I shove threw Willows suite, into the hall, and down the stairs.
I can only imagine how insane she'll think I am.

Then I hear a sound. A laugh. Echoing down the hall. I skip down the steps, sure to keep quiet, as I listen distinctly for the vague giggle. Right when I go to round the corner I see it. Two silhouettes compressed against each other like two metamorphic rocks forming into one. I snap back, pushing myself against the painted walls.

"Augustus, you really know how to make a girl laugh..."

I recognize the tone of voice. The lingering smell of strong perfume.
Piper.

"Well, if it wasn't for your sense of humor I'd just sound stupid." He laughed back.

I peak once more around the corner and see her against him. She's wearing a white dress that's millimeters from exposing her areas.

"You know, Gussy Bear..." I gagged for my own amusement, but silently I was hurt. How come he didn't just shut her up, and walk away. "...I felt something when I met you. Did you feel it?"

I don't give him a chance to reply. I push myself out into the hall, and witness her draping herself onto him. She witnessed my presence first and therefore she acted before I could speak.

Her lips. His lips. Suddenly it became a boy and girl, looking as if she's a dog in heat.

I crudely spit out loud enough so they can hear,
"If I wanted to see this, don't you think I would've took a sex education class?"

Their messy kiss breaks, but when Gus turns to explain, all he sees is my flying ponytail flash round the corner.

All of a sudden, confessing my horrendous site of Willows cloak to Charleston didn't seem like such a sweet idea.
