Itachi

                          Forgive Me

(Age 24)

My name is Y/N Uchiha, one of the last few remaining members of the Uchiha clan.  I live in Woods in the Land Of Fire, a nice little cabin tucked away from the Hidden Leaf Village and any who travel through the woods.

I've lived here by myself since I was 17 years old, when my whole clan was slaughtered in one single night by none other than Itachi Uchiha. The love of my life, the one who I was going to marry, the man who was going to father my children. But in one night, that all changed.

I laid in my bed, warm and drifting off to peaceful sleep, when I heard a loud crash and my mother scream.

I quickly jumped out of my bed, grabbed a kunai and ran out of my bedroom door and down the stairs to the living room where I heard the scream.

I jumped over the couch and landed in something wet causing me to fall and slide a few feet. I sat up rubbing my head, the feel of something warm and wet on my hands and my body. The moonlight shone through the open wall panels of my home, to my horror as I looked at my hands, they were covered in blood, my legs, arms, everything was covered in blood. I looked further into my living room and there laid my mother, dead on the floor face down.

My hands started to shake, my vision began to blur as tears whelped up inside them, and my breathing quickened.

Step.
Step.
Step.

Three heavy footsteps, footsteps that wanted to be heard neared behind me. I grabbed my kunai and swung at whoever was behind me but nothing was there.

"Y/N." A deep low voice called out to me. A voice all too familiar to me.

"I-Itachi!?" I called out standing up on my feet and peering around my living room but I couldn't see anything. I haven't awakened my sharingan yet so that wasn't any help to me.

More footsteps apporached me  from the side, I grabbed the kunai tighter and swung to my left, a hand grabbed my wrist and twisted it behind my back and kicked my knee forwards causing me to fall to my knees in pain. The hands grib grew tighter and I struggled to free my arm.

"Stop." The voice demanded. The voice belonging to my boyfriend, Itachi. My heart stopped and my blood ran cold on my veins.

"D-did you do this Itachi?" I sobbed lowering my head to my knees as I sobbed loudly.

"Please forgive me Y/N." Itachi breathed in my ear, leaning his chest into my back. "Why?! Why Itachi!?" I screamed at home a she finally let my arm ago and jumped back away from me.

"You wouldn't understand Y/N." His voice void of any emotion, his sharingan eyes bright in the darkness.

"Tell me! Make me understand! Why did you kill my mother?!" My body racked with sobs and hot tears poured out of my eyes.

"It wasn't just your mother, I killed our whole clan!" His voice harsh and he grabbed me by the throat. I choked out a breath, my hands flying to his wrist and arm to try and relieve some of the pressure.

"They were all weak!" He yelled, his grip tightening slightly.

"W-what of your little brother? S-S-Sasuke?" I managed to ask as he lifted me up and slammed me against the wall.

"My little brother is dead. Just like the rest of them, and now my love, You will die next."

I stood up from my spot by the river near my house. That night still playing clear as day in my mind as if it happened only yesterday. I gathered my scroll and pen and began to walk to my house.

But as I grew closer to it a weird feeling prickled my brain, my hair stood up on end, I activated my sharingan and quickly turned around and threw a shuriken some feet away, but it stuck in a tree.

"I know you're out there. Come on out." I demanded, another shuriken in my hand.

"So it seems your sharingan has awoken. I'm impressed." Itachi stepped from behind the tree where my shuriken struck and plucked it out of the tree.

"Itachi." I said through clinched teeth. My anger boiling in my blood.

"Hello again Y/N." His voice was still void of emotion even to this day.

"I swore that if I ever saw you again that I would kill you, and avenge my clan."

Itachi let out a chuckle, and sighed softly. "If only you knew the truth my love."

"Don't call me that. You lost that right years ago." I charged after him but soon found myself back at the Uchiha compound.

"What the hell?" I looked around seeing all the dead bodies of my people littering the streets, I hear cries of a little boy at the end of the road and ran to him, but as I got closer I realized that it was Sasuke crying.

Itachi had jumped away from him and Sasuke fell to the ground, riddled unconscious. I ran to him but then my surroundings changed again, I was on my room, laying in my bed with a warm body next to me. I looked over and it was Itachi, sleeping soundly with my on his chest. His voice rang out in my ears,

I love you Y/N, now until the end of time.

Of course I'm coming back. No need to worry.

I can't wait until I can marry you my love.

You would make a great mother one day, maybe even to our own children.

I opened my eyes and I was laying flat on my back in the dirt, the bright sun bruning my eyes, I sat up and looked around, any trace of Itachi is gone, buy next to me lay a single white Lilly flower and a note.

I know it may not make sense now my love, but just be patient and in due time it will make sense.

Forever in heart, and always in my dreams.
