"I wonder when Naruto will be back?" I asked leaning back into the rolling chair I was sitting in at the Cryptic's Decipher department.

"Who knows. That Sage training could take months." Shikamaru said reading through Master Jiraiya's final code to us before Pein had killed him.

"Hm." I whined and laid my head on the desk we were working on. I sighed loudly and Shikamaru laid his hand on my arm.

"Hey. It'll be alright. Naruto is getting stronger. I believe he can do this and be back in no time" I stared at him in shock, Shikamaru has never praised anyone. So to hear him Praise Naruto made me feel more at ease.

"Thank you Shika." I said putting my hand on his and giving it a squeeze with a smile. He nodded pulling his hand away and went back to reading the notes.

A loud no shook the whole building causing me to fall out of my chair and flat on the floor.

"What the hell was that?!" Shikamaru asked running towards the window.

"An explosion? Are we being attacked?" I asked standing next to him looking out in horror as many smoke clouds spread out in the sky in many part of the village.

"I have no idea. We need to go check it out!" He said looking at me with a serious.

"No. You stay here and protect the people in here. I'll go scope it out." He gave me nod and I jumped out the window and landed on blue rooftop and ran as fast as I could to the closest explosion.

I stopped in my tracks at the horrific sight before me, shinobi and civilian a like scattered around under piles of rubble and debris. I saw a pile move and quickly jumped down to help them.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked helping him stand on his feet.

"Yeah. Thank you." He said steading himself.

I help him grab as many people as we could carry and took them to the hospital.

"Sakura!" I yelled as I burst through the door, two people thrown over my shoulders.

"Y/N!? Are you okay?" She ran to me, and helped me lay the people down on male shift cots.

"Yeah I'm fine. What the hell is happening?"

"It's Pein, he's here." Her green eyes as serious as I've ever seen.

"W-what?! Where is everyone? Are they safe?"

"Choji just went to find his dad, not sure about the others." She said kneeling down and healing a wounded woman.

"Shikamaru is fine, I just left from where he was. I'm gonna go check on everyone else and bring in any wounded." I ran out of the doors and ran towards the market district.

I began to sense Kakashi- Sensei, Choji and Choza's chakra and ran straight for them.

I was too late, Choji and his dad were unconscious on the ground, Kakashi was stuck under a pile of debris and one of the Pein's was standing a few feet from him.

"Kakashi- sensei!" I yelled and and ran to him to protect him.

"Y/N?! Get out of here! You can't beat him!" Kakashi yelled behind me, struggling to move.

"Ah. Y/N, Naruto's twin sister." Pein said with a tilt of his head.

"Pein." I sneered and pulled my sword our of it's holster on my back and held it out in front of me. "You will die by my hands!" I yelled and charged at him.
