Kakashi {Part One}

Light To His Darkness

I kneeled on one knee and watch Lord Third closely, he was standing somewhat defeated, looking out towards the village.

"Y/N, I have asked you to come here for an important mission."

I narrowed my eyes behind my ANBU mask, "And what might that be Lord Third?"

He turned to me, his face showing sorrow and regret. "I am relieving you of your ANBU duties."

My head shot up at him, "W-what?!"

He held his hand out to silence me, "The mission I assigning to do will take up all of your time." He sighed heavily holding out his hand, "Please remove your mask."

I was angry, ANBU was my life, I have given so many years to this life style and now I have to give it all up. I slowly removed my mask and handed it to Lord Third who then threw it onto the wind.

"You will no longer go by your ANBU code name, you will not answer to it it it is called. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir."

"Your mission is to teach young Gennin is along side Kakashi Hatake."

I gasped at him, "K-Kakashi sir?" Confused as I was, I remember him from his days in ANBU, he wasn't my Captain, I wasn't even in his squad, but I had worked along side him before. I touched my side where I took a life threatening cut from a sword. Kakashi was down, and was weak, if I hadn't jumped in the way he would he dead. He was furious with me, yelling at me about how stupid I was to doing it. All I could tell him was, "It's better if it's a low life ANBU than a Captain." I haven't seen him since that day, he hasn't even seen my real face or even know my real name. The only thing he knew about me what the heart shaped birthmark on the side of my neck

"Yes, I understand you two have some history together." He brought his pipe to his mouth and cocked an eyebrow at me.

"Something like that."

"Good. He's been really torn up about that day you know? But never mind that, I need you to bring him out of his darkness. Show him the light, since Obito and Rin's death I'm afraid he's lost to it forever."

I bowed him head and stood up, "Yes sir. I'll try my best."

"Very well. Ill be checking in on your progress from time to time. Now go, he meets with his new squad soon."

I nodded my head and kept from the top of the Hokage building to a rooftop. I jumped from the rooftops until I reached the apartment complex were a lot of the Jonin and ANBU members live, I changed into my Jonin uniform and went to find Kakashi and his team.

I found them on top of a set of stairs, Kakashi leaning against the railings and the kids sitting on the steps. I jumped and landed on the railing to Kakashi's right, the kids all screamed and Kakashi didn't move an inch.

"Sorry I'm late Kakashi, I had an important meeting with Lord Third. I will be assisting you with Team 7."

He looked at me, his one eye holding boredom and behind that was the icey glare the Hokage told me about.
