Fake Couple

"So I need you and Yamato to go to the Land Of Waves and act as a fake couple and get the Intel we need on why they are moving troops closer to the border."
Lady Tsunade looked at us as she spoke, me and Yamato gave each other a look and looked back at her.

"But why us?" I pointed between me and Yamato, who looked equally confused and possibly uncomfortable.

"Because you two work great together and you both were the best Intel receivers we had in ANBU." Tsunade's eyebrow twitched in annoyance at my question.

"You will be leaving in the morning, you will leave in normal clothes and do not wear your head bands."

"Yes ma'am." Me and Yamato bowed at the same time and left the office, an awkward silence fell between us.

"Uh.. maybe Kakashi could help us? I mean he does read those pervy books all the time." Yamato didn't look at me when I asked him, he just nodded his head.

"Y-yeah that could work.." He was blushing like crazy and was a good distance beside me.

We walked to the training grounds were Naruto and Kakashi were training, as me and Yamato walked up Kakashi and Naruto stopped. Kakashi looked straight at Yamato narrowing his visible at him.

"Naruto, here. Go get you some lunch and meet back here in an hour." I gave Naruto some money and he smiled at me with his big goofy smile.

"Thanks Y/N! See ya!" And then he was gone. I watched him as he ran off and then turned to Yamato and Kakashi, my cheeks heating up as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"So what's this about?" Kakashi asked putting a hand on his hip. Me and Yamato didn't say anything at first just looked at each other.

Yamato spoke first, "Well uh-"

Then Kakashi leaned into Yamato's ear and whispered something to him. Yamato's face turned full red and he pushed Kakashi away glaring at him.

"W-what?! No you idiot that's not it!"

Kakashi couldn't help but laugh at his flustered friend. I stared at them confused at what was said and Yamato waves his hands at me and nervously chuckled.

"K-Kakashi is just being dumb. Nothing to worry about Y/N, I promise."

I looked at Kakashi and I couldn't tell if he blinked or winked at me. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Look, me and Yamato have an Intel mission and we have to act like a c-couple.." I bit the inside of my cheek and looked off to the side.

Kakashi looked between us and busted out laughing, to make matters worse he even fell out on the ground holding onto his sides. I clenched my fists and stomped to him and punched him repeatedly in the arm.

"This. Isn't. Funny. Kakashi!"

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Stop it."

I stood up and huffed crossing my as over my chest again in annoyance. Kakashi stood up dusting himself off and regained his composure.
