Shiiiiiit! I'm late! I'm so late! Guy Sensei is gonna murder meee!!

I raced down the streets of the Village going as fast as my legs could carry me. I overslept this morning and living alone means no parents or siblings to wake you up. As I'm running I'm trying to attack all of my pouches and fix my hair so I didn't look like complete trash, maybe just a small mess on your bedroom floor.

I reached the training grounds and fell face first in the dirt huffing and puffing . My legs were burning and I swear I can taste blood in my mouth.

"Ah Y/N, so nice of you to finally join us." Neji teased to my left. "If I had the strength to lift my arms I'd punch you in the face right now." Neji chuckled softly, "You couldn't hit me even if you tried."

"Lee!"

"Yes Y/N?!"

I lifted my finger and pointed to my left, "Punch him in the face for me."

"Don't you dare Lee." Neji warned.

Small hands wrapped around my upper arm and gently helped me sit up and air cross legged. Guy Sensei glared down at me, his hands on his hips. "Now that Y/N is here we can begin training. I would make you do one hundred laps around the grounds-"

"Aww man!" Whining I raked my hand through my hair, "But! You love on the farthest side of the Village, and by the looks of it you ran all the way here." Guy walked up to me and crouched down ruffling my hair, "I think that's punishment enough." Sensei stood up and clapped, "Now today we are going to focus on our core strength!! Everyone up a tree!"

I groaned loudly standing up from my spot on the ground and ran up a tree that's between Neji and Lee's trees. We followed Guy's lead and hung upside by our feet and began to do crunches.

"Good work Y/N! You will have great core muscles in no time!" Lee praised going faster than any of us. "Thanks....Lee." I panted smiling as I lifted up upper body up and then back down. Luckily I wore a tight fitting tank top today so I won't be flashing anybody.

After we did crunches Guy had us do jump Jack's, "You are doing fantastic Y/N!!"

"Lee I'm just doing jumping jacks."

"Yes! But your form is amazing!" I rolled my eyes at him and continued my training.

"Okay everyone! That's it for today! Y/N, don't late again or you will have to walk fifty laps on your hands only."

"Yes Guy Sesnei."

"Hey Y/N! C-can you wait for a moment...?" I turned to Lee, his face was beat red as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Sure Lee. What's up?"

"Um...w-well..."

I giggled and put my hand on his shoulder, "Spit it out Lee."

He took my hand in his and held it tightly to his chest, "Y/N...um...I -I really like you! I like you more than a friend and comrade...y-you are really pretty and strong."

I was stunned to say the least. This would explain why Lee has been acting weird lately. I could chug a cup of water and he would praise me for not choking on it.

"Uh Lee I-"

A deep growl to our right was heard making both me and Lee turn our heads to see Neji, hands balled into fists at his side, "Unbelievable, Lee get your Hormones in check-" Neji clamped his mouth shut and stormed off into the forest alone.
