Floor 5
Variiya's PoV

We arrived at the small shopping center filled with bustling Regulars. I have never been to a mall before, my eyes widened with wonder, admiring the aesthetic displays of the stores.

Endorsi tugged my arm. "So what do we do first?"

My mouth was still agape, turning around in awe. All these bright colors and fancy items were new to me. Maybe I spent too much time fussing and focusing on plans and actions in the battlefield.

I kept darting my eyes up at all the signs and back to Endorsi. She laughed at my reaction. "You've never been shopping before, have you? That's probably why all your clothes are such a drab."

I shook my head and glared at her as she made that comment.

"No wonder why Khun won't notice you."

"I don't care!"

She smirked, "Well, I guess we're just gonna have to try everything." Her eyes lit up as soon as she saw something behind me. "Ooh," She tapped me and pointed to a store. "Come on," We briskly walked through the sea of people and entered the store.

I gasped softly. "Wow..." I quickly rummaged through the racks of tops and dresses, amazed with every design.

Endorsi sighed, "Well, this place could use a little more work, I've seen many better pieces," She got a blouse and studied it. "This is pretty exceptional." She returned it back to the rack. "Okay, Variiya, what do you wanna try on?"

I pointed to the white t-shirts on the table. "That,"

"Variiya, you have so many white shirts. You're wearing one right now." The brunette scoffed.

"Well," I reasoned out. "Those have prints, I'm wearing a plain one now."

Endorsi groaned, clearly so done with me. "That's it, I'm choosing."

"But--"

"No, I'm choosing." The Princess scanned the choices of hung and folded. She took out a v-neck blouse. "Try that on,"

I huffed. "No v-necks, no off-shoulders, no crop tops, no sleeveless."

She took the blouse back. "Basically nothing too revealing," She got a beige long-sleeved turtle neck and a navy blue wool skirt. "Try that first, you'd probably like it."

I reluctantly got the set of clothing in my hands and went to the changing room. After undressing, I stared at my back. There were about 12 scars marring my pale skin, one was trailing up to my nape. I had another 3 on my arm, then there was the Atonement wound on my wrist. I became okay showing off the scars on my arms because it wasn't too disgusting to see. I didn't want others to see my back, the thought of it was mortifying.

I put on the clothes, tucking in the sweater and made a face as I walked out of the changing and turned around, studying the flare. "It's okay..." I said, checking it.

Endorsi's face lit up. "Variiya, you look very cute right now."

I scowled. "Do not call me cute, I am not cute. Those words do not go together."

"Wow, you're definitely not scary when you're wearing that." Endorsi laughed and handed me more blouses to try. "Try these now."

"This is gonna take forever," I groaned and pointed to what I was wearing. "I'm not buying this."

"Then, I'm buying it for you."

"No!"
