Jiseong Moon was born on the 6th of February, 1997. She was 17 when she died.
Jiseong was the fourth of five sisters. Her family had lived in Jeju Island, but they moved away when Jiseong was 11. She was just like her name suggest, intelligent for her age. She had a faith in god, and was a part of a church choir when she lived in Jeju. Jiseong also cared for those around her, being more cheerful and energetic. She was also beautiful and slender, she had even received an offer from an agency to become a model, but she had other dreams. Jiseong's ultimate dream was to become an airline stewardess, but she needed to achieve fluency in English to fulfill her dream.
Jiseong was excited for the field trip. She gets to visit her old home and meet her childhood friends! During the sinking, Jiseong called her father, and he explained her in detail how to get to the deck. He also advised her to wrap her phone in plastic, so it doesn't get damaged.
Her body was recovered and returned to her parents. She now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
