Jangyoung Shim (Class 7)

Jangyoung Shim was born on the 7th of July, 1997. He was 16 when he died.

Jangyoung cared deeply for his mother, and made sure she was feeling well everyday. He would do the dishes when she was feeling tired, help her up the stairs and in general put her above himself. He had many friends and admirers because of his kind nature, Geonho Kim and Minjae Seong were his best friends. His original dream was to become an architect but he changed his mind and wanted to become a police officer instead.

In 2016. His father Myeongseok reunited with his son in heaven. He had been suffering with cancer for some time, until he lost the battle.

His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park.
