Jinsu's birthdate remains unknown. He was 17-18 when he died.
Not much is known about Jinsu. He had been diagnosed with a brain tumor during high school, and spent much time at the hospital. He had many friends who loved him, and his ultimate dream was to become a singer.
Jinsu had to skip the field trip, because he had a major brain surgery on the 14th of April. He woke up, just to hear that he lost most of his classmates and all his friends to the sea. He was devastated, but tried to stay strong and beat the tumor. He lost 30kg (60 pounds) during the time, because he didn't feel like eating or sleeping.
Jinsu died at 1:30pm, 16th of June local time. His last words to his family were ''I just want to see my friends.'' He was cremated and buried to Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park, next to his beloved friends.
