Yeseul Park was born on the 22th of August, 1997. She was 16 when she died.
Yeseul was the eldest of two sisters. She had a close relationship with both of them. Yeseul was described as bright and very optimistic. Yeseul had a talent for drawing, and she loved drawing high heeled shoes. Her ultimate dream was to become a designer. Her work was shown in exhibitions for two months after her death.
Her death was very crushing for her family. Her sisters didn't show their sorrow to their mother, because she always cried when she heard the sound of the water running.
Yeseul's phone was retrieved and the footage was restored. She had recorded one last video about half an hour before she died. She is seen in the hallway, lying down with a bunch of girls (Onyu Yang, Suhee Choi and Hyangmae Bae were regonised), laughing and joking around, completely unaware what is going to happen. Yeseul remains positive ''Let's meet after we survive! Let's live everyone!'' Five minutes before her death, Yeseul called her mother. After explaining the situation, her mother started crying, but Yeseul stayed calm. ''Don't cry, don't worry, I will be rescued'' were her last words
After her death, her parents made a memorial video for her. There are brief clips of the time she was still alive, and her art can be seen.
Her body was recovered and returned to her family. She now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park
